affraid drives about to take over basketball in bc haha big win congrats . Maybe we should send drives u-17 to nationals

I do think Drive U17 is a lot stronger this year than BBC U17. We won't see them play each other unless they meet each other in a tournament which seems unlikely.

The only way we can judge right now is by comparing results against the same teams.

BBC U17 were blown out by Team Jones and FOH. Drive beat FOH by 5 and lost to Team Jones by 1 (blown call) in double overtime.

I agree with a couple posters here that clubs and BBC should work together to send the best team possible to nationals but I don't think that will happen anytime soon.

Just to add to this post about comparing results against the same opponents. BBC U17 lost to One Pass Ahead by 14 today. Drive U17 beat the same team by 18 couple weeks ago.

it's possible but i'm not 100 percent sure. Pasha tweeted that they had several injuries to key players this tournament. He could be talking about manroop.

Las Vegas Live Tournament

Pool A

Drive is in a very tough pool which features the 12th ranked team in America (Houston Hoops). They have some of the top players in the nation including J Michael Reese, Rasheed Sulaimon (committed to Duke) and L.J. Rose.

Pool Play

DRIVE U17 lose a heartbreaker 69-67 to a very strong Utah Select (Manroop Clair 24 pts, 4 assts, Kenny George 15 pts, 7 rebs)

Drive was leading 67-63 with 1:05 left. Missed 2 FT's, tough turnover and their kid hit a jumper at the buzzer to win it. Very tough loss.

Pool Play

DRIVE U17 lose to Sam Rines (PA) 73-71 (Manroop Clair 30 pts, 5 rebs, Kenny George 16 pts, 4 steals, Tristan Etienne 13 pts, 12 rebs, 6 blocks)

Drive lose another heartbreaker. They called a foul with 2.3 secs left score tied 71-71. Great game. It was such a frustrating loss for DRIVE U17s. Drive could be 2-0 heading into the Houston Hoops game. Both losses happened in the last 5 secs.

Tsbiet @DRIVEBasketball lost their second game to Rise by only 2 once again! Manroop Clair dropped 9 pts in 30 seconds, Reggie Miller style! #NPH

Recruiting Information

Santa Clara showing interest in DRIVE's Manroop Clair & Tristan Etienne. Santa Clara coaches were at the Sam Rines game this afternoon.

Add Santa Clara to the quickly growing list of Division 1 schools after Manroop Clair.

Pool Play

Drive faced Houston Hoops, one of the top AAU teams in America. They have 3 players who are ranked in top 50 by ESPN for class of 2012 including Rasheed Sualimon (ranked 20th) who has already committed to Duke.

DRIVE U17s lose a tough one 74-56 to Houston Hoops. (Manroop Clair 27 pts, 4 asst, 7-10 from 3, Kenny George 16 pts, 5 steals, Tristan Etienne 10 pts, 10 rebs, 5 blocks)

It was 40-37 at half. Packed crowd for a very entertaining game. Many Major D1 Coaches were in attendance including Danny Manning from KS, Sean Miller from AZ & more. Houston has some serious talent.

Manroop Clair Had one of his best games in a DRIVE Uniform, so proud of him. He turned many heads today!

15 year old Tristan Etienne played awesome going toe to toe w/ some of the best!

Manroop got the attention of many Division 1 coaches and scouts today by playing big while being guarded by one of the top players in America, Rasheed Sualimon.

Court Cred which is one of the top recruiting sites in America had this to say
