So Devon Park boys beat McAdam last night, everything is just a coin flip in this division, Harvey seems to be the top dog, but everybody has lost to somebody else except GM, but they haven't played anyone except DP. Can't say things aren't interesting!

DP beat McAdam by 3 WITHOUT moffitt. harrington got cut sometime in the first quarter and didnt play the rest. could've been anyones game. Ben Coburn did exceptionally good in that game.

I would say Devon Park is 2nd and McAdam 4th, McAdam hasn't really done a whole lotto impress me, yes I know Moffitt is out but still, haven't seen it. Other than that it looks spot on at this point.

Belleisle I don't see as a top 8 team, they play an incredibly weak schedule and their big guy can only do so much, if they win against any real competition they will surprise me.

Didn't you say that about belleisle last year too? just think about first round of regionals last year and you will know where i'm going with this Wink

I don't know if they can, they have now lost handily to JC, and lost earlier to Peti by 20, Peti doesn't even appear in the top 8 yet, altho they probably will soon.

There is always a sleeper or 2 each year, any comments on who they might be in A this year?

Harrington scores 17 for Devon Park. Kitchen scores 28 and Walton 21.

I admit they have been having some off games, but I'd still keep a eye on them.

[quote="39forever"]So as it seems, Coachjack has given up on his attempts at doing rankings, I will continue with mine. Here we go :

Boys
------
1. Harvey
2 .McAdam
3. Grand Manan
4. Devon Park
5. John Caldwell
6. Hartland
7. Peti
8.Campobello

Girls
-----
1. Grand Manan
2. John Caldwell
3. Caledonia
4. Harvey
5. Tobique
6. Stanley
7. Hartland
8. McAdam

No changes this week, alto, I think that Stanley should be ahead of TV, but there are not definate results to back it up, so I will leave it for now. This is probably how it will stay until the new year. Merry Christmas everybody!

Dear Pantherines,
Perhaps you warrant an 8th place spot, perhaps you could tell me which of the top 8 teams you defeated to deserve that spot. I know the same could be said for Campo, but I had to chose 1. It seems I remember hearing that you defeated TV in an early season Tourny, but I haven't seen that result anywhere.

Tobique is supposed to play JCS again Wednesday, but I am hearing rumors that it has been cancelled. Does anyone know if this is true and why?

Stirring up crap is what Seal Covaaa's do best. Half that town should be behind bars.

Where is Big Mac? Still recovering from the 46 point bloodbath? At least the trip wasn't a total loss...they did beat Hartland..I had to do a double take when I saw that score....

Congrats to Dani for being Tourny MVP, she must have been thrilled...as well as someone else...as few times as I have been to the Island the last 20 years, I probably couldn't pick her out of a police lineup....not that she'd ever be in one...haha.

I believe Petty has beaten both TV and Stanley. TV was in an early tournament and Stanley was at home in an exhibiion game. They have a decent young team; a good point guard and a good center as well as others to complement them. Here is my top 8.

1. Grand Manan
2. John Caldwell
3. Caledonia
4. Harvey
5. Petty
6. Stanley
7. Tobique
8. McAdam

The boat wasn't running...we had to swim over, so we were tired. We will try and live up to your lofty expectations, in the future.

Sincerely,

Big Mac!

The reference above is concerning the girls placement. The score 65-63 was the Varsity boys game not the girls.
