With the new season set to tip off Monday, here is The Province’s first set of Big 10 rankings for the 2011-12 senior boys Triple A season.

SENIOR BOYS

THE PROVINCE’S BIG 10

PRESEASON RANKINGS

1. Kelowna Owls
2. Vancouver College Fighting Irish
3. W.J. Mouat Hawks (Abbotsford)
4. Pitt Meadows Marauders
5. White Rock Christian Academy Warriors (Surrey)
6. Kitsilano Blue Demons (Vancouver)
7. Burnaby South Rebels
8. Terry Fox Ravens (Port Coquitlam)
9. St. George’s Saints (Vancouver)
10. tie — Walnut Grove Gators (Langley)
10. tie — Sir Charles Tupper Tigers (Vancouver)
Honourable mention: Claremont Spartans (Victoria), Sir Winston Churchill Bulldogs (Vancouver), Oak Bay Bays (Victoria), Argyle Pipers (North Vancouver), Tamanawis Wildcats (Surrey), Byrne Creek Bulldogs (Burnaby), Enver Creek Cougars (Surrey), Steveston-London Sharks (Richmond), Heritage Woods Kodiaks (Port Moody)

I think this list will change in a hurry. I think White Rock and Burnaby will drop and St George's and Oak Bay will move up. Kelowna and Vancouver College will be clear-cut leaders all year long.

i really don't understand how fox can be above st georges, grove, and tupper..
even some teams in the honorable mentions will do much better than them this year.

Terry Fox host VC this coming Tues, it should be a good game and a guage to see if the rankings hold. It would be interesting to see if Terry Fox has the guards to handle the speed and strength of VC guards.

VC should be one, and Tupper and Grove should be higher, South and Fox shouldn't be Top 10 as of now, but we'll see as the year goes on.
