Interesting FV this year. With Delta hitting the form along with the performance slide of wrca and mouat, opening up various possibilities. Can't wait for the playoff. For sure, 2 berths are for grabs if not 3.

Lucas Goossen is a really good player and should be thought of with the best guards in this province like mitch goodwin, but he doesn't get a lot of attention this time of the year because he's not playing for a ranked high school program.

His almost 35 points against an ok white rock defense wasn't a fluke because I also watched him light up semiahmoo for 50 something too! When a player scores like this despite opposing coaches who must be focusing their defense solely on stopping him, that's a good player.

Pitt Meadows is looking very strong these days and starting to separate themselves from the rest of the pack, they are so well coached as always and playing consistently in what has been an otherwise shaky top 10 this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see them or a streaky team like Tamanawis take out kelowna on an off night in march at the provincial championships.

PM beats enver creek 64-47 in central division play. Enver was missing a starter but this game was never in doubt with PM dominating from start to finish.

Enver looked horrible the entire game, and seemed to be missing big man Justin Bhangoo more than expected. Big man Rajan Rai had 1 point and David Ahmad had 0 . PM looked very good in transition, with Seye scoring most of their buckets. Also 3 point specials Darsh hit 4 in a row at one point. Look to see a much better game in the Fraser Valley Central playoffs when Enver's healthy and better prepared.

Note - this is a Princess Margaret score and not Pitt Meadows.

I agree with you. Lucas Goosen's stat line against Semiahmoo 54 points, 12 assists, 10 rebounds and 9 steals. Amazing.

Nice to see Walnut Grove get some press..

http://blogs.theprovince.com/2012/02/08/walnut-grove-gators-no-longer-lurking-beneath-the-surface-of-b-c-boys-basketballs-elite-programs/

Man it's a shame to hear of Paul Getz going down for the year. The guy was an absolute beast and like all Gators, worked his ass off night in and night out.

I hope all turns out well with his knee and he comes back bigger, stronger and hungrier (is that a word?) next year!
