How many High School coaches have communication, or connection for development of your intermediate schools?
Do the High schools that have 7&8 and the same location have an advantage on the schools that are 9-12 only?
Let's get your thoughts.

For athletes who play club those players will be the players who coaches will recognized when coming to high school and have prior knowledge of them before coming in. Schools with high school and grade 7&8s don't ussualy see each other, its at the same location but the hours are diffrent and the school is separated into different blocks. Overall i don't think that grade 7 & 8 shouldn't get into the hype yet because they are very young they are still being exposed to the sport they're not even in competitive play yet. a 4 year high school program is well enough to develop great athletes into great basketball players.

With the exception of LDH, no OCDSB schools have their 7&8's in the same building, this only happens in most Catholic schools. Coaches wishing to see the best Middle School talent in the Public and Catholic Boards should take in the annual National Capital All-Star Classic www.natcapclassic.webs.com . The Classic is usually held the third week of May at Carleton or Ottawa U.
