PostSubject: Unfair for other AA teams   Tue Feb 09, 2010 12:54 am

Ebe,

It is very unfair for the lowermainland teams that you get to host AA lowermainlands, because you are rank 1 going into provincials which you didnt beat any teams to deserve it. Secondly, you hosting AA lowermainlands gives you homecourt advantage which you don't deserve because you decided to jump into AA in the middle of the season because your team couldn't handle AAA and next year you are probably going to find a way to bring them back into AAA so they could compete since your starting 5 are made up of grade 11s. I understand you try to do what is best for your team but other teams wants equal chances to make provincials..

Fatboy we are hosting the Lower Mainland "AA" Tournament because no other school wanted to host it and /or no other school could get their gym for the days we needed to run it. Believe me I would have no problem playing somewhere else as hosting is a huge amount of work and I would rather concenatrate on just coaching.

THE TOP TWO “AA’ TEAMS IN BC TO MEET IN THE LOWER MAINLAND FINALS
The #1 ranked “AA” team in BC, the RC Palmer Griffins, beat the Hugh Boyd Trojans on Tuesday night 97 to 73 to advance to the Lower Mainland “AA” championship game where they will be taking on the #2 ranked team in BC, the Britannia Bruins. The Bruins beat McNair 72 to 57 in the other semi-final to set up the showdown between the top ranked teams. This is the first time these two teams have played each other all season and with both teams having very quick and athletic players who like to run it promises to be a very entertaining game. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 at RC Palmer.
