Sounds like the Valleyview-B. South game was a tight one. Was anyone watching? SCTV was Off Air for that gym... Would love a game recap from someone.

The St. George's vs. DP Todd game was a very good contest. Todd has a couple of physically strong and talented posts and their guards know how to play. They shot well and rarely turned it over. It is clear why they were previously undefeated.

Saints led most of the game by between 2 and 13 pts. Drew Urquhart had the best dunk I have seen at any level in BC this year. It was in transition over one of Todd's post players (video to follow I expect). Their coach was wise to call an immediate timeout. I expect they will make it to at least the consolation finals - a shame they were seeded so low, but seeding overall has been solid and Todd didn't play any games on the Island or the LM.

Based on what I saw of the 8 top seeds, any of them could win their next game. It will all depend on which teams play well that day. Some nice teams out there.

Thank you to Vancouver College for a very well organized tournament. Unfortunately, Wellington could not stay for the closing ceremonies and was quite surprised when watching online that they had been placed tenth rather than eighth.

In my opinion Elijah Campbell Axson was the best player out there and should have been MVP. He didnt even make an all star team!

Agreed that EJ is the best player in the VC Jr. Team. But talking about MVP for the tournament alone of which I have watched all 4 VC games, it is no deny that Manvir is the obvious choice.

In response to Wellyfan, I have checked on line that Wellington is indeed the no.8. Game 27 is playing for 8th/10th place. It is not the respective order of the teams shown. Wellington is the winner which they are in bold, so they are the no.8 and Burnaby South is the no.10. Congratulaions to Wellington for a nice run in the tourney!
