Club season is just around the corner. If you already play for a club or have been thinking of trying out, check all the local clubs web sites to find out when and where you can give it a go.

Clubs. Use this forum to advetize your tryout dates and times. So many kids miss out because they or their parents hear about a tryout too late.

There are a lot of good clubs. Talk to your friends and nieghbors to find out which club is right for you or your kids. Don't miss out by thinking about the upcoming season too late. It's hear and now so get involved.

Does anyone know if you have to register to try-out for genesis? Or can you just go to the try-outs?

Here is some help finding club websites:

Red Jackets - http://www.redjacketbasketball.org/
Calgary Selects - http://www.calgaryselects.myubertor.com/
Calgary Storm - http://www.calgarystormbasketball.com/
Out West - http://www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?url=outwest
CYDC - http://www.cydcbasketball.com/
Foundation - http://www.fybball.com/about.htm (not sure the club still exists)
Wizards - http://www.3ptsports.ca/3pt_Sports/Calgary_Wizards.html
Jr. Dinos - http://dinosbasketball.com/juniordinos/
CBA - http://www.calgarybasketballacademy.com/
Genesis - http://genesisbasketball.net/

Wish I could think of or find more websites. Tryouts have already began at some clubs and will soon begin at others.

Not ready to play club then check with your local community sports association and play spring basketball in the CMBA.

Think you are too old? Wrong. Mount Royal University has there popular spring Ranger Elite League. Sign up and they will place you on a team. Ex-high school, ex-college, ex-university. There is a place for all levels. There is also very active woman's and men's leagues for fall and winter.

I know I've missed some clubs. Please offer your information the above list.
