While most zones wrapped up their playoffs yesterday, the LM isn't finishing until this Thursday coming which is very odd, but oh well. Also, some scores and results still haven't been posted, so as of now ten teams are for sure in. They are:

2. Southridge
3. Holy Cross

Howe Sound
1. ??? (probably Seycove)

Kootenays
1. ??? (probably LV Rogers)

Lower Mainland
1. ??? (probably RC Palmer)
2. ??? (probably Britannia)

North Central
1. ??? (probably Columneetza)

North West
1. ??? (probably PRSS)

Okanagan
1. SOSS
2. Sa-Hali (Host)
3. Fulton
4. Princess Margaret

Vancouver Island
1. Brentwood
2. St. Michael's
3. Shawnigan

Draw as I see it, assuming Columneetza, LVR, Seycove, RC Palmer, PRSS all win their zones and Brit comes second in their zone. If Brit upsets RC Palmer, switch them.

PostSubject: Re: AA Provincials Official Thread   Sun Feb 28, 2010 3:28 am

This was not a high scoring game but wow, the quote "defense wins championships" prevailed. Brittania took this game in the first quarter leading 27-11 thanks to wonderful shooting by Brits #7 Hoang and #9 Ogonzalez. Unbelievable, Hoang was nailing way beyond threes as Ogonzalez did the same. The next three quarters were much more steady as Brit slowed down the game and controlled the tempo. None of the griffins could get anything started offensively thanks to great defensive pressure by the Bruins. Semir Ibrahim totally shut down Vijay Dhillon. He (Semir) definitely could have made the Provincial Team. Down the stretch Obaseki dominated the boards and blocked a number of shots. Although standout Semir did not have his best offensive game, the rest of the bruins all contributed equally as usual. The Bruins starters paced for 17 from Obaseki, 14 from Hoang, 13 from Ramirez, 12 from Ibrahim, 9 from Ogonzalez. I am very surprised that Ramirez, Ogonzalez or Hoang did not receive any all-stars, they all played great in the tournament. Hoang was awarded player of the game for the Bruins, while Hare got it for the Griffins. Thanks to ebe for posting the all-stars, etc. Great tournament!
