Are u trying to say that louis riel sports prgram is garbage? saying that no one on the Varsity team is in the sports program? ive heard that most people who play on the school teams dont do the sports program.

No offence to Louis Riel, I'm sure that they have fought hard to get to this point, but Ashbury is just too big, too talented and too experienced to be beaten by a team such as Louis Riel. Ashbury has been a top 10 team in the city all year round, and Louis Riel has never even been mentionned in this conversation. And Ashbury is much deeper than just Jean, they also have Matt Mcclean (6'7) who is a top 5 post player in the city and also Zach Legaut (6'2) who both play for the Ottawa Guardsmen. Sure, hype up your team all you want, but at the end of the day, Louis Riel is still and underdog in this game.

Wow Ashbury does sound tough. Should they win, would they be ranked pretty high at OFSAA? They should give ACMT from Hamilton a good run should they encounter them.

I have no comments on the sports program. Our school also have a core group of quality players who play club basketball and can matchup with ashbury's players(1 from next level & 2 from wolverines) yes we are the underdogs and have absolutley nothing to loose in this game..where is ofsaa for single a?

Ashbury will likely be one of the top seeds at ofsaa if they get there. They finished well last year and return almost everyone I believe. As for ACMT, they declared double A this year I believe so they will not be in the NCSSAA's way of their pursuit for gold at ofsaa!

About time they declared AA. The A squads that they played against at OFSAA didn't stand a chance. Didn't the demolish every team by 30+ pts or so in the last few seasons? I wonder how they will do against the AA teams.
