I wouldn't change a lot. Injuries, game schedules, etc... can impact the true rating of a team.

Top 8 "A" Girls
1. John Caldwell
2. Grand Manan
3. Dalhousie
4. Peticodiac
5. Caledonia
6. Harvey
7. Tobique Valley
8. Stanley

1. John Caldwell- Someone needs to beat them before they ever move
2. Caledonia
3. Peticodiac
4. Harvey
5. Devon Park
6. Dalhousie
7. Grand Manan
8. Stanley

Top 8 "A Boys
1. Harvey
2. Hartland
3. Grand Manan
4. Belleisle
5. Devon Park
6. Campobello
7. McAdam
8. Dalhousie

Only real change would be dropping Belleisle down to bottom. Nothing surprising here so far this season besides Belleisle.

Top 8 "AA" Girls
1. Tantramar
2. Rothesay
3. Southern Vic.
4. Fundy
5. Carleton North
6. RNS
7. St. Stephen
8. JMA

Switch 1 & 2 and its pretty close.

Top 8 "AA" Boys
1. St. Stephen
2. Carleton North
3. Woodstock
4. Rothesay
5. JMA
6. Sugarloaf
7. Southern Vic.
8. Fundy

Wouldnt change much here either. Its the top 4, and everyone else.

Top 8 "AAA" Girls
1. FHS
2. KVHS
3. BMHS
4. RHS
5. LHHS
6. JMH
7. WHS
8. HTHS

Switch 1 & 2, throw Sussex in anywhere around 3 & 4 and its good.

Top 8 "AAA" Boys
1. KVHS
2. LHHS
3. FHS
4. Moncton
5. HTHS
6. BMHS
7. SJHS
8. SRHS

Might add Simonds and JMH in around 5-7 but still think 2 of top 3 are in Harbour Station.

PostSubject: Results from DP vs TV game tonight??   Fri Dec 21, 2012 11:01 pm

Anyone know the score from the Devon park vs Tobique Valley girls game tonight? I have to assume that DP lost given that they are quick to post wins.... Would like to see DP play Harvey to see where they stand now. Anyone know if they have an exhibtion game anytime soon or playing in the same tournament?

Great to see someone is watching the DP girls scores that closely, especially for a team that wasn't expected to be competitive for another year. Pretty sure they post the losses (Bathurst being most recent) quite quickly, but I'm sure you can contact their school if you need the result sooner.

And maybe Tobique Valley didn't travel down due to worries about weather last evening...

Sorry, I should not have spoken so quickly. And yes, like watching all of the teams scores not just DP.

Was JC missing some players today. Sounds like a closer score than it should have been.

Merry Christmas everyone!

is there any KVHS any time soon, I have been watching them faithfully this year, if anybody wants to watch a fast-paced good old fashion basketball game, get out and watch them! They are fabulous and should win this year if they keep FHS under control

Devon Park losing to Mcadam last night would be my only change in that top 8. Anyone know when Harvey and Mcadam play?

By the looks and sounds of it maybe Harvey is ready for round 2. Look forward to having you all over here soon.

A Girls

1. Caladonia - Beat JCS enough said
2. JCS - Lost to Caladonia - injury's may have been a factor but a loss is a loss. Maybe an average team looking better due to a lack of depth this year in A.
3. Peti - very underated team
4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - GM , TVHS , Harvey , Stanley All a step below the top 3 but all capable of an upset.
8. Won't matter

Overal a down year in A based on the last few years - GM last year , RNS year before and TVHS the year before that.

A Boys

1-2- Hartland & Harvey - very close between these teams
3. GM - A contender when healthy
4. Caladonia - Good results probably should be higher
5-6 -7-8- Campo , MHS , Peti, Devon Park .

Could be a two horse race

5.

Boys "A"

Have to easily say Hartland is a front runner in the standings. Harvey is certainly second unless the Breakers get back our shooter soon.

Curious abot Caledonia, not sure the East has earned #4 but maybe I will be surprised.

Girls "A"

1. JC
2.Petit
3. GM
4. Devon Park (beat our girls last week but struggled against petit)
5. Stanley
6. TV
7. McAdam
8. Harvey

'A' Girls

1. John Caldwell
2. Petitcodiac
3. Caledonia
4. Devon Park
5. Grand Manan

I'm not going to punish a team for injuries....when healthy, JC has handled Caledonia.
I think Petitcodiac is a dangerous team....

'A' Boys

1. Hartland
2. Harvey
3. McAdam
4. Grand Manan
5. Caledonia

It seems like a Hartland/Harvey final....but, McAdam might have a say...we'll see.

Petit girls beat Caledonia in Petit on Tuesday night. Since there will be no North East Regional and assuming that both teams win out this will give Petit first in the NE and the right to host the sectionals. This would mean that Caledonia would probably travel to a sectional hosted by JCHS for a burn burner final there.

I think the results in Caledonia last weekend and in Petit on Tuesday make this the probable top three in Single A right now:

1) Petitcodiac
2) Caledonia
3) JCHS

Not sure how Peti is a top 8 team on the boys side. They need a miracle to finish higher than 4th in the east...
