Justin would have been a key part to the game but he was out due to a sprained wrist.

Holy Cross would be a top 10 AAA team maybe top 5 in the province, sporting a front court rotation of two 6'7 and two 6'5 bigs who are as good as any in the province. But Lukestster is correct with Kitsilano missing there PG Sze there offense just doesn't look cohesive at all, Sze runs Kits show and they can't win vs tough competition without him. Luka is not nearly aggresive enough to dominate games against teams with size that can match up with him. Kits should be fine once Sze is healthy, and should make it out of the Lower Mainlands this year.

Kits gets taken out by Churchill at home... No answer for Mindy, Luka neutralized by Jesse, and Churchill backcourt much more poised.

They better figure it out soon before playoffs start.

Final Score: Churchill 82 over Kitsilano 73

That's 2 losses in a row and 4 losses in the last month, and they will be in tough again tomorrow night vs a Terry Fox team that has been playing well as of late, is Justin Sze still out with injury?

He has been out, studying for exams. Justin Sze will not settle for the B!

Justin was back tonight. He had some nice takes and got to the line but the shot wasn't falling. Churchill's PG did a good job covering him.

Not to hate on Luka, but I'm not seeing D1 potential at all. Most likely CCAA to start and finishing off in CIS if he improves his athleticism.

Like I've mentioned before if you have the big's to muscle Luka like with 6'9 Jesse from Churchill, Kitsilano is in trouble, especially if the 3 point shot isn't falling for them. So much of Kits offense runs through Luka getting touches and giving his teammates easy looks, that if you can neutralize him Kits becomes a mediocre team.

And totally agree with your thoughts on Luka, he would most likely have to play the 3 or 4 spot on any D1 squad, and he is just still not quick or athletic enough from what I've seen, he's worked hard the past few summers in scaling his weight down but must still sculpt his physique to become still stronger and faster. But I still think he could compete well in the CIS next year.
