So how was the Brentwood-SMU game? Seems by the low scores to have ben a defensive battle, I know all there games before the playoffs have been extremely close.

The Island is extremely competitive this year, probably 6-7 real good teams fighting over 3.5 berths to Provincials.
But I still think SMU, Brentwood and Lambrick will make it out with Isfeld getting that last berth.

As the score would indicate, the Brentwood-SMUS game was a defensive battle and neither team shot well. SMUS held Brentwood to just 2 points in the first quarter, leading 12-2 but Brentwood battled back and it was a tight game much of the way. SMUS did a solid team job defending Jordan Charles, Brentwood's outstanding scorer. SMUS's 6-8 post Mack Catto, back from injury, dominated inside with 12 points and 18 rebounds. You are right about the Island being competitive. Wellington is also a very tough team and will be playing at home in this weekend's Islands. Should be some great games.
