South played Kits very tough, and only a backcourt heave that banked in for 3 had Kits up 53-50 at the end of the 3rd.
When the South guards play well they can beat anyone now that they are a healthy team. And they often play well. The guards, apart from Bogajev, were held in check well by Kits but they can go off at any time. Taylor Smith, who is a great 3 point shooter didn't hit like he normally does despite getting some open looks. They will probably also add their outstanding grade ten player for the BC's. Not sure of his name but he is ranked as one of Canada's best.
St. George's seem to be slipping under the radar here.
Mountain, who are small but very athletic and compete hard, had given everyone a real scare here but were down by 40 to Saints late in the third. Subbing by Saints was all that kept this from being 100+ to 50 or so. South beat them by 6.
A last second loss to South more than a week ago on a day when the South guards were on fire is all that kept them from the final and a great matchup vs. Kits. Saints appeared flat that day. Tough to come back after an emotional win over VC the game before?
Who wants to play them early in the BC's? As the LM 3 seed, that will be the fate of someone good.

Haley can certainly ball, but don't know what kind of difference he'll make playing up, he has played Jr all season and has not exactly dominated competition, he's good but nowhere near a difference maker.
