PostSubject: Dangers of Social Media   Thu Feb 21, 2013 2:14 am

Everyone especially players should read the great sports article in the Province about the dangers of social media. I've attached the link. We should be wise to some of the very critical comments we author on Hooplife and remember the audience. There's sometimes a detrimental impact when we use this forum to shred young athletes trying to play a game they love and do their best. Same goes for Twitter and Facebook, student-athletes use common sense and sound judgement with your tweets. It has been documented extensively that coaches and employers peruse these sights to gain a better understanding of your character and behaviour. Don't let trashy comments ruin something you've been working real hard for.
