PostSubject: West Coast Showcase    Thu Aug 22, 2013 2:20 pm

Aug. 31/Sept. 1 will mark the 5th annual West Coast Showcase featuring Gerry Freitas. The camp will be held at the Langley Events Centre and will be divided into  Jr. (entering grade 9/10 class 2017/2016) and Sr. sessions (entering grade 11/12 class 2015/14). In 4 years, over 40 camp alumni are playing at colleges across North America, highlighted by 2012 Alumni Joe Deciman of the Canadian Jr. National team and Colorado State University. Gerry Freitas is the top scout on the West Coast and over 175 college coaches pay to receive his camp reports. His reports also play a key role in player ranking for various US websites. Prior to running his Hoop Review Scouting Service, Gerry was  a college coach for 21 seasons at various levels from NAIA to NCAA Division 1. The camp will feature a skills session each day followed by game play, where the players will be evaluated. Once the camp is over, Gerry will write a report on the camp which players will have access to. If you are interested in attending, the camp cost will be $90 or $425 for registered club teams. This camp is a fantastic opportunity to display your talents and the hard work you or your son have put in over the summer. All the best,

To imitate is to flatter without necessarily being aware you are flattering. As such, your 'artless' appreciation has to be 'sincere'.

To: JesusShuttlessworth....WHOEVER you are ? Should not come up with conclusions before knowing full details. Its obvious you don't have any kids playing basketball. If you did, you would not be mentioning other kids names the way you did.

So you know...this post was not done by Westcoast Camp Organizer (Gerry). I just downloaded his write up on players who attended his camp for basketball coaches / parents to see.  BTW I live here in BC and involved in Coaching.
