Watching Oak Bay-Kits right now.

#6 Jade Touchie of Oak Bay appears to be fairly talented, but he looks for contact that isn't there and throws his hands up for a foul when he drives too much. Needs to play through contact and just play. Good talent, though.

PostSubject: Tammy   Fri Feb 28, 2014 1:06 pm

Both Semi Finals should be great games.... West Van has been very cohesive in both their wins yesterday...I think Panarama has a little too much for Walnut Grove... however points should be hard to come by in that one.. don't be surprised if the game is in the 30's for both teams....

Saw the Semi Finals today. Tamanawis' lack of team work & the selfish play of a couple of players made them loose this important game. Really wondering why the Tammy coach has not stopped these self centered players from ruining the whole season for the team. These couple of players have played like this throughout the year.
Impressed by PR boys who didn't loose their composure and played great like a team (as they always do) to win against the Gators.

I know that this is not the right thing to do, but you want to name those players so they know who they are. If not the full names maybe just the player numbers ?

I think from Tamanawis #9 should have got an All Star award as he contributed heavily to the team in this tournament. He was much more consistent and efficient than #15 and #20

Agreed I thought #15 was the reason they lost to West Van threw up a couple of questionable calls in a tight game.

Agreed. #15 and #20 are responsible for Tamanawis not winning the BC's. They play between themselves to win MVP.

Why are 'surreybasketball' and 'hooplife' always sitting here trash talking Tamanawis players? All it seems like to me is some kids on the JR team who are envious of each others success taking shots at each other.. why is it such a big deal about some allstar awards? These two are accounts of kids or parents of kids on the Tamanawis team and its pretty obvious

Actually "hooplife" never has been trash talking Tamanawis it is only surreybasketball that does and you ripping on them saying that there kids or parents is nonsense. There just stating their own opinions just like you are. I personally believe what surreybasketball said was true but, again thats just our opinions. The forum is made to have the right to express so you need to relax. Also why would parents OR kid on a team trash talk their own team? that doesnt make sense at all

and #3 from west van i believe also should have received an award, he played great. So dont rip on people if you dont know your facts. Let others express their feelings and thoughts and you should express yours. Just had to say this for the sake of the players and forum members.

I agree with what you say but #20 not so much, i believe he actually played really well and looked to find his teammates more yet scored when his team needed it.
