im surprised that there has been little to no interest in James Lum's services from a CIS. Don't need to worry about academics, thats in the bag. I know his pint size (5-foot-9) is hurting his chances but we must not forget a former UBC point guard by the name of Karlo Villanueva who stood at 5-foot-4 and led the nation in assists in his last 2 years at UBC.

100% agree. I've heard TRU talked to him.

James is a very talented player. CIS schools are mainly concerned about his size. I've seen him play a lot, and I don't think that should be a problem because of his lightning quickness and his athleticism. At the Agrodome, he didn't play as well as he had in the season, but he still put up good numbers. UBC should know a lot about little guards (karlo, Jordan yu). I've heard TRU has been talking to him and that would be a huge steal if they land Mr lum

I recently heard that Jordan Yee from Southridge and Christian Weisbrod from WRCA signed to Queens. Anyone know where the pg from Britt Wayne Hoang is going or Semir Ibrahim? Has James Lum decided where he is going yet? It's going to be interesting to see who gets some of the top dogs and the silent but deadly players.

Wayne Hoang is a solid player in high school, but he isn't going anywhere post-secondary wise for basketball.

Semir was very, very impressive at AAs. He is lightning quick, has GREAT defense, a great feel for the game, and a good looking jumper - except for no spin on the ball whatsoever - and he's super athletic. I hope a few CIS schools take a look at him.
