Grand Manan beats Harvey 80-48 in the final, what's up with that?

Just maybe GM is not a "one trick pony"

I can assume by this statement that Pothier must not have played? Otherwise you don't understand the definition of one trick pony

Oh, I think Pothier played, but if you had seen the tourny write up, some other kid from GM got Tournament MVP. He must be ok then. Doesn't say much for Harvey if they can't beat a team with one pony and nothing else. This same Harvey team beat Hartland which seems about as much of a "1 trick pony" as Grand Manan is. But I am sure that since everybody had Harvey and Hartland at HS months ago, that must be the way it is. Why bother playing the rest of the games.

Hard to put value on things. Here you have Harvey beating Carleton North last week , a team "Powerball" in another thread suggested going Triple "A" and will win the Double "A" title. Alot of funny things can happen in these games so lets play them out. Good thing Harvey and Hartland didn't move up to "AA" so Woodstock , Carleton North , Rothesay , Tantramar can compete for that title. That is "if any value was put into the comments."

CNHS beat Harvey I was at the Game. the paper got the information wrong and CNHS sat there starters which played a combined 10 minutes maybe? CNHS won by 4.

I don't doubt that at all, there are always circumstances when these scores pop up. Would be interesting to see the circumstances when GM beat Harvey by such a wide margin. Maybe Harvey sat their starters?

Why on earth would a team sit their starters in a tournament final unless they were up by a lot or down by a lot? Either way....they got beat by a lot and no, they did not sit their starters.
