| What is the story BBFanatic? You are a poster to the forum when they win, but many are asking about the blow-out loss to Le Boldus as Mouat holds the #1 ranking in BC. Given the score is a bit of shocker to the BC basketball community.
On another note, VicFan what was the results of the Claremont vs Walnut Grove game. You said Claremont is the best on Vancouver Island and people are "sleeping" on them. Howard has them as an HM so they are considered a good team and in the "mix". It's important to follow-up on statements win or lose significant developments so we can get an understanding on the lay-out of the basketball landscape. |

Per an assistant on the Mouat team (he knows I'm posting this): "We ran into a very good team and we came out flat and played a terrible game. We have had a very tough busy schedule so we pulled starters early in 3rd when the lead was 20ish and let bottom of the bench play majority of minutes in the 2nd half at which point it blew up to a 49 point difference" He also owned up to the fact the team wasn't playing with energy and their travel schedule hit them (6th game in 7 days) w/ some players feeling under the weather. They couldn't hit a shot whereas Leboldus was knocking down 3s. With all that being said then came 3rd in the tournament with a 30 point win in their last game. No affiliation w/ Mouat, just passing the info on. |

| At the 2013 Mike Dea Classic at St. Francis Xavier High School in Edmonton WJ Mouat finished 3rd. They lost to Leboldus from Regina in the semifinal by 50 points. Archbishop OLeary from Edmonton beat Leboldus 93 to 91 in the final. |

| Huge upset Pitt over Mouat! Graham Smith with 11 points 12 assists and 20 rebounds! What does this mean for Mouat's #1 ranking and what does it mean for Pitt who just last week gave Grove a run for their money and list to #4 Glean Eagle in OT? |

| Sardis crushed us. We didn't stand a chance. At this point of the season they are on another level that we're not even close to. |

| I've seen a few Pitt games this year and have been extremely impressed with what I have seen. They are definitely not close to the most skilled team in the province, but I believe they have two of the most important things a team needs in BC High school basketball to be successful: A skilled point guard who is composed and can work under pressure, and a fundamentally sound big man who works hard in the post to get open and fight for boards. If a team has both these pieces, all they really need are a few role players who can run the lanes or step up and knock in a three pointer or two in a drive and kick situation. I believe this is what Pitt has along with a very good coach. They definitely didn't go down to Grove or Gleneagle with out a fight and they'll be in the mix in March as they usually are. |

| Very big win by Pitt or Mouat and it demonstrates that there is some parity this season. Pitt has played several top teams early in the season building confidence and a blueprint for where they need to go. An overtime loss to #4 Gleaneagle and beating #1 ranked Mouat should pull them up in Tsumura's rankings.

| Good point Aristotle, although they were up at the half vs Grove, they did lose by 16. The only thing that one should note is that Goulet played his bench with 5 mins left and down by 15. Cohee played all but the last minute. Game was closer than the score indicated. |

| HM AAA NorKam (Kamloops, BC) plays at Sa-Hali (Kamloops, BC) tonight. Sa-Hali beat #1 AAA Fleetwood Park this past weekend at Chilliwack's tournament. |
