The player you are talking about is Jaymin Lockhart.

My team had the daunting pleasure of facing Mouat three times this year (once in a Junior Varsity game at there tournament and two other exhibition games) and I will say it was tough containing him.

He is unique as he is 6'9 but he has a really solid mid range shooting game and he shows the tenacity and hustle to get rebounds. He needs to bulk up slightly so that he can use his 6'9 frame a bit more as an inside presence. Knowing the Mouat coaching staff I am sure they will push him to bulk up and for that reason combined with his great shooting and tenacity inside I would watch for him to be quite the star next year.

I to had the pleasure of not playing against but watching Jaymin play in the Abby Snowball Classic. Not only did he have the mid range game but he shot the three with confidence and attacked off the dribble. Agree with you Coach R if he is able to get to the gym he will be a post that can compete with Wagner or Mitch from Clayton.
I would say Jaymins potential is really high and depending if he works on his game this Spring/Summer will depict on how well he does next year. I assume Jaymin to be in the top 15 players in the province and will be the leader for Mouat for the 2011 season.

Why is osaro obeseki on it? did he even make the selection camp? He has no jump shot, can't dribble and can't catch.. i admit he can play some defence but thats all.

Coach K, I have a really big problem with what you said regarding Osaro. I've had a chance to watch this kid play and he doesn't have the greatest jump shot, I am pretty damn sure he can catch a ball, and he can dribble. Now, to be a great basketball player nowadays, do we need to score 30 points? Do we need to average 45 points a game? I'd have a guy on my team who I know can shut down an opponent's best player. You can teach offense, but defense is un-coach-able. That's what makes this kid, good. The offense will come later, I'm sure but hell I'd the take defense any day.

Agreed both of those players should be on this list. Warren is a great talent and can score the basketball at will. He does make bad decisions and could be a little selfish but still his talent is unmatched. Daniel Edwards i believe will be one of the best 4's in the province he is a terrific athlete gets up easy and is a terrific rebounder when he wants to be. He averaged close to 16 rebounds a game at provincials including 19 boards against Sir Charles Tupper in the 6th/8th place game.

Warren's defense is terrible. That's his downfall. Sure, he might score 28 but if his check is scoring 30, is he helping his team? No.

Another player to look out for next year is Argyle Brazilian transfer student. Great handles, consistant shot. Isn't the best PG in BC but is top 5. Argyle will have a very strong team next season. Wesley Dekleer, Keelan Wild, Nik Ottenbreit, the new PG and Cole Faminoff. Other than the point guard, all their starters will be 6'4" and taller and very skilled.

im very surprised to not see drake downer there either, he played very well at islands, winning first team allstar, beating out jason mckee. Also played very well at the dome, so i dont know, i think they have missed alot of players that should be in the top 25

Zayas of Palmer is overrated, I don't believe he should be top 25 in the province.
