Not a rumour Owen Boisvert is at Ashbury College and both him and Noah Kirkwood are playing senior this year. Barry's list is once again bang on, it's a shame Ottawa keeps losing some of our top-end guys to Prep schools in Toronto and the US. Nice to see that we will showcase some of the best talent in the province, might be a little down but have some great young guys coming up in grade 10.

Listed players what about Top Teams this coming season??

The rich get richer. Can't confirm he's playing yet but Ali Sow (JR. All-Star Game MVP) A year ago has transferred from OIS To Merivale.

As the season approaches, the one thing that seems clear for the senior boys' season in Ottawa this year is that there will be some interesting parity at all levels. Perhaps Merivale and St. Pats are the early favourites in the AA and AAA/AAAA divisions respectively, but Merivale lost to St. Joes this weekend in the Cullen and St. Pats also showed that anyone can be beat as they lost in the 1/4 of their own tournament last week. Still, I think that those two teams still stand as the current favourites heading into the season. For single A, Ashbury is very young but should be solid and could compete with anyone. Louis Riel has chosen to compete at single A this year as well, along with Deslauries, Hillcrest, and OIS, meaning that there is no ofsaa lock at the single A level.

All of this is to say that there will be some great games in the ofsaa division this year with no team having any easy games along the way. Looking forward to it!
