Though it's still several months away, can't help but anxiously wonder who's in and who's out for the Olympic Qualifier. Maybe Canada's deepest talent pool ever but a must win to be respected as a basketball power and live up to the hype. Jay T. will have some tough decisions but here are my list of contenders for the 12 spots on Team Canada (assuming all are healthy and want to play for the national team). What say you.Down Low and inside
Joel Anthony (leader, shot blocker, tons of Fiba exp.)
Levon Kendal (leader with lots of Fiba exp. still in his prime)
Jordan Brachynski (up and coming)
Melvin Ejim (up and coming star)
Krem BirchWings (2&3)
Jevon Shepard (Super athletic and FIBA exp.)
Andrew Wiggins (enough said)
Carl English (shooter, playmaker, slasher. Top scorer inSpain Pro.(2nd best league worldwide). In his prime.
Brady Heslip (3pt. gunner)
Jordan Baker (the future, super all-around)
Junior Cadougan (don`t know much about him)
Andy Rautins (Shooter, playmaker, all- around great player)
Nic Stauskas (shooter, playmaker, slasher)
Mangisto Arop (lots of national and Fiba exp. V. athletic)Point
(here`s where it gets interesting)
Corey Joesph (enough said)
Mick Kabongo (came out of college too early; super athletic and hope he gets a shot)
Tyler Ennis (awesome)
Kevin Pangos (maybe the best all-around Canadian Pt. G. since Steve N.- even Bobby Knight raves about him).
Plus 2 or 3 from the 2guard position.
