Mcadam has clinched first as they have beaten Harvey twice.Harvey has almost clinched second with one more win they will. Its really a battle between Fundy and Campo for 3rd and 4th.

West
1Devon Park
2Hartland
3Southern Vic
4Canterbury

It is how you see it.

There is a scenario in the south where if Campo wins all three of their remaining games and in the win vs. Harvey beats them by more than harvey won by in overtime that they could catapult themselves to 2nd in the conference.

In the west I think SV finishes ahead of Hartland so long as they beat Nackawic (who is winless in league play).

You would be correct, my error I didn't look into the southwest enough, nice save!

As for the first game being played at devon park I believe its just because the game is during school hours and the OHS gym won't be available until the second game?? Not a hundred percent sure.

I dont think JMA plays Bellisle to see who comes 3rd or 4th, Bellisle has 2 more games left against Caledonia and Bonar Law if they win both they will clinch 3rd. JMA has one more game against Bonar Law. Look for Bellisle to win both games here, they play both at home which is a very hard gym to play in.

I didn't mean JMA plays Belleisle literally lol they each have. 1 league game left. Both have a 6-5 record. If they both win, belleisle gets 3rd same goes for if they both lose.If one team wins and the other loses then the winner gets 3rd this is the most exciting playoff rsce in a while!

i just seen that the 1p.m game at devon park between them and campo/fundy is the only one bein played at dp gym all the others at ohs,so reasoningmust be becuse its the only one duing school hours... now heres my predictions..

after regional games the proinvcials will be :

In McAdam In sugarloaf

mcadam vs bellisle sugarloaf vs hartland
Harvey vs petty devon park vs boistown

Mcadam vs harvey devon park at boistown

McAdam vs sugarloaf at the AC

i think either way dont matter who wins one provincal is going to be way more competitve than the other. Pick away ppl!!

Really because the team has not been notified???

there is obviously confusion out there , mostly stemming from the NBIAA....go figure.
Officials within the NBIAA are telling people (I know of at least 3) that there is a suspension but it appears that no one has notified the team.

As far as I am concerned this is another in a long list of examples of the lack of leadership in the NBIAA. Make a freakin decision, notify all concerned and move on.
If the kid is suspended then tell him, if he's not then stop telling people he is...

Look for Minto to make it to Provincials, they have pretty solid guard play with the best Center in AA. If there wing players can step up, it could make for a tough win for any opponent.

I may be wrong, but I don't see Minto getting out of the first round.

We play Bonar Law in Rexton, Belleisle plays Caledonia at Belleisle. Both Games on Feb. 1st. If Belleisle wins, they finish 3rd. If they lose and we win, we finish 3rd.

Even if minto does make it to provincals it will be a first game exit becuase they wouldnt last against mcadam or devon park seein mcadam smoked them by 50

No I dont think Minto will win at Provincials and they will prolly come 4th at regionals. But I only see them and Petty moving on in the east. JMA has been to inconsistant, while Bellisle plays hard but they just dont have what it takes to win at regionals. All though they do play UMRHS next week i do believe, so time will tell how they compare to them.

I don`t know if you would call umrhs a power house or not but they do have an impressive records and pulled of a close game and a win against Harvey. But I think this team may take a fall next year. They`ll be losing two of their starters plus they`ll be merging with the Doaktown school who hasn`t had a ball team for years. That could possibly drag them down hard to say. McAdam has always been a strong team I think and will probably stay that way for a few more years to come.

I think your wrong on UMRHS next year BOAS 04-10.,.. They may be losing 2 of their starters by graduating... and also merging with Doaktown... But you have to remember... You have at least 3 very good... if not just as good as the 2 starters that they are losing.. that are not on the starting line.. that can fill those 2 positions..
As far as merging with Doaktown... they are only losing 2 players as you stated... so whoever tries out from Doaktown.. will have to prove that they belong on the team... Still a good team next year as far as i am concerned..

Seriously . . .

No disrespect to UMRHS but its too early to be talking about anyone, ANYONE in terms of next year.

Despite the fact that it overlooks a great 4 weeks of ball left this season, it has no relevance since we can't predict who moves/stays, who fails, whose coach/program changes, who does what in the offseason . . .

Any coversation about next year as we approach this year's playoffs is a little silly.

I agree, next year shouldn't be on anyones mind yet, especially if you are a player right now.
