I couldn't agree more. JMA0is a very gentlemanly team.I can assure u there is at least one player with an attitude on that team. I'm not saying all kids r that way but each team has at least one

First off, thank you Hoosier for the comment.

Boas, our team has a few guys with attitude. I can say this though, there isn't a ref in this province who has seen it from any of them, this year. We had the worst ref in all my years coaching the other night in Belleisle(and I'm not saying he favored the other team - he was just bad in every way), and to their credit he has no idea what they thought of his ref'ing.

I agree coachmac and give u nothing but praise for the way u handle your team. Everyone I speak with agrees with that.the more I stew on this the more I realise the parents r really at fault the game wouldve progressed had they been more responsible. All and all its an ugly situation I can't wait to have resolved and with the recent loss of a loved one of one of our kids its the last thing on our minds.

I feel your pain with he ref in Bellisle, both made consistant bad calls both ways making it hard for the kids to play the game hard and at a physical level. In a AAA game the kids would be aloud to play hard and compete but refs seem to degrade the level of toughness at the AA level, making it a whole new game when teams play AAA teams in tournaments.

Playoff race in the East heating up.

Caledonia beat JMA by 5 last night denying JMA the oppurtunity to clinch a playoff spot.

Cambridge Narrows plays Saturday in JMA which will determine the playoff bound team. Should be a great game to watch! Cambridge Narrows also beat Bonar Law last night keeping their hopes alive!

any word on that disputed game at Sugarloaf...who won ? who lost? who got suspended...
Also my sincerest Condolences to the UMRHS squad on the loss of a parent of one of their players. Makes for tough times but our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of loss.

Did you watch RNS's games last year???? They were damn good - good scoring, great rebounding and good defence - they made it to the final 4 2 years in a row - you are the joke

I watched Campo beat SVHS in the Final of the Hartland tournament last weekend. Neither team impressed that much.
I would pick Sugarloaf to beat either of them.
And Boas you must be a prophet since the closest NB power plant to Campbellton (one in Dalhousie) is being shutdown in a year or so. Very Happy

UMRHS and Sugarloaf game called in the third quarter. Game was rough and a ref laid his hands on a UMRHS player, parents stormed the floor and the refs just left. One of the refs were helping Sugarloaf the whole game telling them when and where to cut, telling them when people were open. Sugarloaf was pushing, literally pushing players out of bounds. One player got pushed hard by a Sugarloaf player and the UMRHS player was face to face with the Sugarloaf player, the UMRHS kid came off the bench and the ref grabbed him by the jersey pushed him on the bench and threw him out of the game, the UMRHS player told the ref u can't tough me, the ref replied yes I can. Then the parents came onto the floor and the refs just left. This game is totally up in the air and I don't know what the ruling will be.

yea refs shoulda sacked up and finsihed it and the parents shoulda chilled, but same thing happened with harvey, harvey left early because there was so many dirty plays, im sure there is another side to the strory bbut yah it sounds like it woulda been entertaining to watch... if the refs honestly told the sugarloaf players where to cut they should be fined or discleplined in some way

Yes, I can understand that and I know both of them. I also know which kids on the team were the bad seeds. But I can assure you this year the Boiestown rep has changed. They have a real shot at making it somewhere this year with a record of 24 - 2 and 6 - 0 for League Games ( Not sure on the Sugarloaf sitch yet ) they are not going to put themselves in a position to stain their accomplishments this year.
