Woodstock completes the double....with a 73-61 win over Fundy.

The Fundy faithful can't be happy with the amount of ft's in the first half.

Woodstock 13-21, Fundy 1-1.....Woodstock led 40-36.

Woodstock won and as far as I know only had 3 major scorers. Keegan, Hunter and Brendon putting up 31, 26 and 16.. Nobody else even got a free throw.. What's woodstock going to be like say 2 years from now?

Well "Brennan" is only in grade 10 so he will be there in 2 years and Mitchell Webber (also on varsity) will be key. Along with a few guys on the JV team that improved a lot

Woodstock boys win finals, it was the fourth year in a row at Final 12 for them.... Makes me wonder if they should move up to AAA or just continue going to the finals. So many AAA never get there but may if they were in AA.
Some smaller schools are very good at some sports and very weak in others and it has very little to do with student population. Same can be said about larger schools. Maybe it's time to consider ranking schools based on previous years results. Probably never happen due to logistics but just a thought.

In single A girls my gut is telling me to pick Grand manan, a streaky team at times but when they're on they're on, but Caldwell plays a quick tempo game that I'm not sure grand mana can match.

This game will go one of two ways, either a game of small runs where if grand manan can stay with them until the last few minutes they have a shot. Grand Manan by 5

Or it'll be like a blow out for the Caldwell girls by 15+
Hopefully my first guess is more accurate makes for more exciting ball!

Good luck to everyone today.

KVHS lead Riverview 39-32 at the half......KV loves the three ball...on pace to shoot 50 threes....(9-25) so far.

You guys can follow online at www.thefinal12.com....and click on live stats on the right hand side of the page....then, click on webcast of the game in progress...I'm 3000 miles away in Calgary and am following the games....

Always nice to see the high step from a player a few times during a game just to end up the bridesmaid !

I assume Oneill was injured vs Fhs, he left that game and did not return rumour was knee to head. Always disappointing when seniors who have worked so hard are denied opportunity to play final game. He is fine athlete, best wishes, speedy recovery

I'm glad I could help....our girls have a huge task in front of them. I hope they play well. They have character...being down 18 going to the final quarter and coming back to win in a hostile environment...

I expect everyone from GM, except the Mountie will be attending. Here's hoping.

Good win for the Royals...made it more interesting when Tilley hit the 3 with 9 seconds left,  Especially when the Royals had a foul to waste and didn't use it on two occasions in the last 40 seconds, had everyone guessing for sure..

Doesn't mean anything at this point except maybe a point for interesting discussion. (Full disclosure I did not watch the A boys final).

But in the all the other games. Majority of teams in the other 5 games played m2m most of the time, yet the two AAA winners both from the NE played almost exclusively zone. I don't know that it means anything 1 way or the other. Just an observation.
