A couple of observations looking at the AAA rankings...

- Why would Southridge move up from AA to AAA?  Lack of competition at AA?

- Pitt Meadows is a surprising addition to the list. Unless I am missing something?  They are losing a lot of their core and it doesnt look like they are adding any significant gr 10's.

- Rick Hansen should be ranked and will be within a couple of weeks after the season begins.  Almost their entire core is coming back and they add a group of very good gr 10's that did well last year.

- Robert Bateman should be at least HM.  Their best offensive player this past season was a grade 10 and they have 3 other players returning who were a part of their rotation during their late season run to BC's.

- MEI Eagles will be deep and very strong.

IMO.... Tamanawis at #4 seems way too high and Panorama Ridge and Mouat should be top 10.

I agree Pitt shouldnt be up there, I dont see them even making the fraser valleys in AAA. Saw all the guys that are moving up play in Jr and to put it lightly they werent very good and I saw rick hansen a few times in jr and this year and they would beat pitt by 20. Just curious if anyone knows who MEI has? I know they did well in Jr this year and two years ago but rarely hear anything about them.

Ya definitely way too high, they did have some good wins last season but they are either too inconsistent or there is some other issue because lots of valley teams gave them a good game, same thing happened in Jr when they couldnt win it. Other issue Tammy has is theres no size on the team next year and there is no size moving up either.
WJ Mouat is a very good team definitely top 10, they should be ahead of St. Georges, Tammy, Fox and Oak Bay. You could make a case for them being ahead of HC as well but too close for me to call that one. Panorama Ridge has every single one of there players back and they did fairly well last season, even though they were very inconsistent at times so I dont understand that one either. Dont see how Oak Bay is 8th either.

Yale Lions (Abbotsford), W.J. Mouat Hawks (Abbotsford) and Panorama Ridge Thunder (Surrey) should have been in the TOP 10. Tamanawis at #4 I don't know what Howard was thinking when he ranked them #4.

People talk about the tiers all being treated the same - would be nice to see A and AA preseason rankings as well.

For my first official post on this blog I would like to shed some light on an issue that I have been keeping inside for quite a while. It would be NICE to see A, AA and even AAA permanently deleted from conversion. They do deserve to be able to play this beautiful game of basketball, but it is almost pointless to talk about. I mean, come on. Not comparable to AAAA basketball in any sense.

As per @DRIVEBasketball on Twitter
"BC HS Fans: Izaiah Ugoalah will return home & play his Sr. Year at Churchill next season."

Big news for the BC hoops scene, as Izaiah is widely regarded as the best prospect of his age from BC.

Just looking for info regarding the post about Izaiah, as top prospect, how do these quotes come to be, where did this come from as 1 to 2 years can make a big difference with many of these top players. so many players develop and or is not in the mix at times.
I do not disagree that he is a top player, my question is about how he is labeled top prospect? I understand he has been playing south this past year and now is competing with BC talent this coming year.
There was some great talent this past year and watching many play this spring was enjoyable and great for BC overall. Just wondering how these labels are instigated and from what sources?

As I understand, Norkam is not AAAA school, and played last year in AAA.
Lots of talent and should be competing next year with the top schools.
