CNHS-have everyone returning along with some key pieces from a very strong JV program. If Bell can keep the marks up they will be at the top all year
WHS-still have Cook and half of the Gray duo, with some very strong players to help. Will probably see Coach Jones coaching another Harbour station this year.
After WHS and CNHS no one is close to having what it takes to knock one of them out

I think Rothesay will be better by the end of the year then people are giving them credit for. If they get into the right sectional they could be there in the end.

Fundy Boys won't be the same sort of team they were last year but will have only real rim protector and most dynamic "big" in the league surronded with two or 3 kids who can shoot the ball. Not a favourite by any stretch but enough to be in the mix on an any given night scenario.

Rothesay or Fundy will probably never beat WHS or CNHS

Top 5 AAA Boys - Pre-season guesstimate
1. BMHS
2. KVHS
3. RHS
4. LHHS
5. FHS

FHS is seeded this low due to rumor that two strong players aren't returning to the program for their senior year. If they are playing then they are in the top 3.

Red,

I am not as in touch with the boys AAA game, but I think putting KV at #2 might be a bit optimistic. They have lost the point guard magic of Jack Tilley to a prep school and that will be tough to replace!! Also lost a big to SJHS on a transfer. SJHS has a big strong team this year and a U15 Canadian National Championship First Team All Star team in the back court. I think you have to put them in the top 5 mix.

LHHS had a transfer in from Sugarloaf I believe, one of this summer U17 team. They also have two U16 players and a handful of U15/U15Dev players.

FHS potentially lost 2 key players but I'd still put them #1.

Great comments. KV has added an old school post player who will be an absolute handful on the block. He didn't play last year due to football focus but decided to come back for his senior year. He more than makes up for what was lost to SJHS. There is also an above the rim grade 11 wing player who is really blossoming and now. KV seems to have reloaded.

Regarding SJHS, I almost had them in the top 5. They are a bit young yet but absolutely in the mix. The new coach has them off to test themselves against Halifax's finest early in the season which will hopefully help them develop. I think the Hounds will be title contenders in 2017 and 2018.

It should be a fun year!

Woodstock and Carleton north tournament they put up good fights and had good runs with Carleton north but were missing some players, they should be in the top 5

Heard mvhs just got a hot from outside, but LHHS will get better as a team as the season goes on I don't expect MVHS at harbour though but they would be close

I think MVHS has a lot better chance at the final than Leo Hayes they are middle of the pack.

FHS defeats CNHS by a little over 20(a lot of missed lay ups and foul shots)

FHS and CNHS fast start for FHS but CNHS did good to get back in to it and only be down 11 at half . FHS ball movement and shooting was good and will get better fast. And the play of CNHS in AA will be hard to mach .... Bell did a good job running the floor putting up 29 on the kats

After losing two years ago in harbour and not making it last year I wonder how coach Gray of Carleton North Varsity feels about most likely winning by double digits in harbour for the next two years with the exceptionally well juniors !!!

Baller, come on. Some people give out banners in November but you are raising the bar giving out 2. CN is good, but no one is good enough to crown now. There are lots of AA teams who would argue with you.
