After losing two years ago in harbour and not making it last year I wonder how coach Gray of Carleton North Varsity feels about most likely winning by double digits in harbour for the next two years with the exceptionally well juniors !!!

He's probably nowhere's as overconfident as you seem to be. It's apparent you are a CNHS fan after reading through your posts, but there's no need to bash other schools (they are kids after all).

He would probably be disappointed that someone who is a fan of his team would act so immature on these forums.

I watched the game last night and baller22W mentions "exceptionally well juniors" the juniors looked completely lost against FHS. FHS outplayed CN last night in every aspect of the game. Bell and Oakes held their own but had no one else step up to play with them.

Who are the players for FHS that decided not to play this year?

I heard Carty isn't returning. He's a good player but FHS is deep enough to recover from that okay. Given that KV only beat Simonds by 4 and that LHHS and SJHS both lost to Miramichi, I'd say it's gonna be a wild ride this year.

I over exaggerated on "terrible" but watching the team last year at the fhs tournament that they won(I'm from Fredericton...) they did very well against all of those hard AAA teams and I know that Woodstock didn't have cook or webber on their team but eating that they lost to Carleton North by 55 that's a lot of points for those 2 to put on the board...

Test tonight Woodstock lost to Harvey and RNS and grandfalls beat Harvey . Woodstock is in grandfalls tonight and if they drop that game I would say grandfalls will be at top of A this season

And MVHS is on the run and have become a great group, and could up set anyone in AAA. As for the AA OK can't help to think that the stars are up guys. Yes they lost to fhs but I think lots of bigger clubs then CNHS has as well

CNHS with Oakes and Hill with Bell back look great. And Grandfalls look good in the A with good defence and ability to run and shoot with some Bnb players as well

Hemphill nor McCarthy played. 82-80 JCS in OT (71 all at end of regulation) Rest of team really stepped up, Pedersen brothers, Nyborg, Henry, all of them. Hambrook 50 pts. Looking like a great season ahead.

Woodstock has some work to do. They have the skill, something just isn't working right now. Coach Jones will no doubt figure it out tho

New top 5 based on recent results

1. BMHS - winning games by big margins
2. FHS - just won Lion's Den in convincing fashion
3. LHHS - athletic team, some nice younger players makes them deeper than anticipated
4. MVHS - came out of the gates flying, surprising people
5. KVHS - Tough weekend at Lion's Den. Will get better as they shake off football season.

SJHS and Riverview are knocking at the door...

Great Lions Den tournament, no doubt Fhs was best of the bunch, King got them running and gunning, fun to watch. Leo has some pieces including new HC, they'll get better once asst.. coach Dickinson gets into the practices. Kv will miss Tilley, he's off to prep school, they do have some good athletes and Vaughan will work them. NS teams are always nice addition to watch. Riverview withdrew?
Fhs def Leo 97-75 in final

Riverview just held their tryouts this past Sunday/Monday. They weren't able to do so because so many of their potential players were playing Football.
