I placed Leo Hayes above Riverview, because I know that Leo Hayes beat KV last weekend and I was unsure if Riverview and Leo Hayes. I think Riverview has had a weaker schedule. MacNaughton only lost to Riverview by 8 and MacNaughton I think lost all their game last weekend also!

Can't really go based off scores.

Bucks beat Warriors
Lakers Beat Bucks
Lakers > Warriors?

That is professional ball, Jr. & Varsity Ball doesn't sway that much on a given day. Skill level?

Ask LHHS Varsity boys. They're an extremely inconsistent team.

I know that Carleton North or Woodstock had or are having basketball tournaments over the Christmas break. Is there or has there been any JV action? Results?

Wow is all I can say about last nights game between SJHS and KV. A game of runs all game. SJHS jumped out quickly then KV came back to have a 2 point lead after 1. SJHS controlled the second quarter to lead by 8 at half. Then KV dominated the third to be up 5 going into the fourth. KV was up by 11 with 4 minutes left then their offence got stagnate as they tried to run clock instead of offence SJHS scored the next 16 points to be up 5. Then KV scored 5 in a row to tie. Game was tied with 40 seconds left when Jeron Sinclair hit and and 1 to go up 3 with 30 seconds left. SJHS made their free throws coming down the end. Great game. Final was 78-72.

Player of the games.
SJHS - Jaleel smith must have had 20 points with about 8 steals
KVHS- Ryan Scott had about 30 points.

Sounds like a great game! I haven't had a change to see either team play yet unfortunately, I missed my opportunity this past weekend at the Red/Green tourney.

PostSubject: Yellow and Black results   Mon Jan 11, 2016 12:22 pm

Chalk up a win last night for FHS Black Kats JV mens' team, taking down the previously unbeaten Saint John Greyhounds. Lots and lots of turnovers, but full court press by Kats slowed Saint John's speed and caused a lot of the turnovers. Foul trouble for both teams early on, especially in the second quarter, where FHS was in bonus with 5.5 minutes left. Final score was 81-75 (76?). Seemed like Saint John's shots just wouldn't fall in the fourth, although they hit a few threes, they didn't dominate down low, which is where they have the height advantage. Looked like they panicked a bit, but if they find themselves in that situation more often, they'll learn how to handle it better. Trouble is, how do you put yourself in that situation? Hah.

Didn't saint johns best player have a broken arm? And carleton North beat McNaughton & MVHS on the weekend? While Leo Hayes lost to McNaughton?

Leo lost to McNaughton by 2, blowing a nine point lead with less than 2 minutes left.

Pool setup was interesting to say the least. FHS, CNHS and MVHS in one pool while SJ, Leo and McNaughton were in the other pool. All the games in the second pool were close, I think the largest margin of victory was 12 points, while FHS had a couple of pretty easy round-robin games.

I think they would be the favorite in AA. Young team. They might be even good enough to be in the top 6. SJHS , FHS, KVHS, Leo, RIvervIEW, BMHS then woodstock.

Also, who won the Girls side of the Fredericton tournament. Who would make up the top six JV girls teams?

KVHS is the best jv girls team. Beating everybody easily. Beat Sussex by 20 in the final in Fredericton. I believe they are unbeaten.

Wasn't at the game but heard cnhs and bernice got in a fight of sorts. Cnhs ended up winning that game by 4 I think.
