1.FHS absolutely murdered everyone all year exposed NB basketball for what it is....a bunch of selfish individuals who play iso ball
2. KVHS solid coaching all year around definitely most improved team
3. LHS inconsistent team had potential but too soft
4. MVHS great coaching underrated all year solid performance
5. Riverview bum team I'll give them a break cause they're young
6. Moncton high only lost to FHS by around 20 solid year
7. Bernice probably the most overrated team all year 30pt blow out losses to both FHS and Leo Hayes in their own gym!! Choked at sectionals as #1 seed
15. Saint John high terrible team bum coach bum program truly a disgrace to basketball

I completely agree with this ranking for AAA. rumor has it that Ryan Vaughn will not be returning to coach at SJHS next season because of the way he carried him self all year (player/coach technicals, unsportsmanlike fouls, getting kicked out of games multiple times, both players and coaches) a complete embarrassment to the SJHS program if i must say, I truly hope Jeff White gets this team next year and turns the program around.

That's too bad for Ryan, I thought he'd end up coaching at that spot for a while.

Jeff would do a great job, kids like and respect him and he knows his ball.

Sometimes a bit of failure can be the best teacher.  I think this could be an opportunity for Ryan to learn from his mistakes and do better next season (or at his next opportunity).  It couldn't hurt for him to spend some time being mentored by an experienced coach or coaches.

Wasn't he mentored by Peter Vincent the past few seasons before? just saying that young coaches are the best option for High School Athletics. I don't know that many who have success or if any?

I guess that depends on your definition of young.

Why would we bother ranking teams after the season is done? I really don't understand what value it would have. I think the playoff system did that already didn't it? BMHS should not be below MVHS, RHS, or MHS. They won the #1 ranking by beating MVHS, and RHS. You must have some type of agenda to want to make that statement.

I think the individual teams have coaches that should already know what needs to be worked on for the upcoming season and have development plans in place already.

If the McLaughlin/McCarthy tandem could figure out a way to stop somebody from scoring 52 on their team, they might be considered as well!

Flemming would be a top level coach regardless of the age level!

On a more positive note, can any of you think of anyone who has both played and then coached at either the AUC or Harbour Station in the last thirty years? There are a few I imagine.
