This years Sugar Bowl is setting up to be one for the books. With 6 teams that are likely to be in the top 10, the championship trophy will be hoisted by whoever can preform under the pressure that the Sugar Bowl brings. Every game should be tightly fought game.

My predictions:

First Round:
LCI over Okotoks

Cardston over Ross Shep

Ainlay over Magrath (Should be close though)

Raymond over Strathcona

Semis:

Cardston over LCI
(Cardston is playing very good, LCI has seemed to have a slower start)

Raymond over Ainlay

Final:

Raymond with their home court advantage will come out on top by a slim margin.

Just with the history between these two programs, this has potential to be the most entertaining game of the year. You might wanna get into your seats 3 or 4 hours prior to the game, this rivalry tends to fill up the gym over capacity.

Whatever the outcome of this tournament is, every fan will get their moneys worth. Good luck to the players and coaches.

Dear Raymond,

It's time to get with the times. Please stream your tournament. Your gym will still fill up, but those of us who can't make the trip can still watch some exciting high school ball over the holidays.

Okotoks has two 4A schools, Holy Trinity Academy (1st year as a 4A, previously 3A) and Foothills Comp. I assume by "Okotoks" you mean Foothills Comp?

So who is #1 in the South? I would say it is not very clear. Edmonton is not as strong as usual and I'm being told that Calgary may be the strength of the province with 3-4 teams very close.

I would agree with the south it isn't clear who is the top team will have to see if league makes things more clear. In Calgary Lester B person and McNally seem like top two right now.
