I'm not legal eagle but burden of proof is on the accuser is it not? Welcome to Canada, innocent until proven guilty not presumed guilty until you are proven innocent.

If claims are made and the NBIAA sends those along to the school, if the school is satisfied with the answers they got. If you've got a problem with the rule or its enforcement that's fine but thats not on the school, coach or kids. Or do your player's coaches not encourage your kids to keep doing stuff until the ref calls it, or reminding them they've got 5 fouls and to use them?

Clubs don't have to be registered anywhere. You can start one right now if you want. Pick any kids you want and invite them to play vs anyone else you invite. If you want officials pay them. If you want insurance go buy some. If you don't, don't. None of those teams would be covered under NBIAA insurance as its out of season so everyone at that tournament is not a school teams, so by defaul has to be a club team regardless of who they are or aren't registered under. I assume players residence are what it says on their student file. Lots of non athletes and athletes a like are at schools but sleeping on another couch but that's not their "legal" residence.

You asked, I answered.

To be clear, you yourself pointed this out:

a coach shall not permit a student who is not currently enrolled at the coach’s school, or whose present school does not directly feed into the coach’s school, to attend “open gym” at the coach’s school or attend spring or summer practices, games or camps specifically designated for enrolled students.

A player who was not enrolled at the coach's school, or whose present school does not feed into LHHS, attended games with players wearing LHHS jerseys. You can't argue this, it is a direct violation.

Do I care? Not anymore, they play tonight and there's nothing that can be done.

Congrats Jimmy Watters, MVHS your boys played with heart and hustle and came up big when it counted most....we'll deserved. Great coach who built that program from scratch. Nice to see the underdog take down the Dream Team!!

Agreed BumptheCutter. Excellent win and well fought battle by both teams. I think the past 5-6 boys finals have demonstrated that dream teams are not as succesful as a group of boys whom have stayed loyal to each other, played together for a long time and developped great chemistry.

Enjoy the win Miramichi!

Back to Sugarloaf goes Carlos for the remainder of the year.

So much for not being recruited for basketball at LHHS.
