When it is going to be based on school population only it will be flawed . As I read earlier on this forum about if RNS gets the recruits they are after they will compete against TVHS . How many other tier 2 schools have the resourses to recruit players for there girls basketball program ??? When is the last time that Canterbury or NSER went out and picked up a couple players to transfer to there school ??? There should be other factors than just population . If teams feel that they can compete up they should be able to but also if teams can recruit they should be FORCED UP . It just seems odd that a team that is going to play in the lowest category in the province recruits players from outside there school . Maybe SVHS and TVHS should team up and transfer some students . Teams like SVHS have worked very hard on there young programs and developed a competitve team for many years to come . Maybe if they talked Goodine Cooper and Ouellette into transfering from TVHS ...O wait TVHS have worked hard on there program also ..... Guess they will try to do it the old fashioned way . With there own kids from there own town trained by there own coaches !!!!!

yeah RNS did such a good job this year recruiting that they didn't have a boys team. Realistically there isn't a lot of recruiting in basketball at that school. Hockey is a different story.

Playoff formats will remain the same, no changes this year anyway.
