I predict a blow out win for Sugarloaf. Dal is coming off several games with weak opponents and exam week. Won't have the same edge as last time. Sugarloaf will want revenge for close call. SSHS by 30+

It doesn't matter what the outcome of this game, its just an exhibition game between two schools that are 20 min away. You are allowed to play 32 games, so might as well use the slots..... Why would SSHS/DRHS schedule a game against anybody else when they can just beat on each other.... SSHS will finish 1st, DRHS 2nd in the divison so this game doesnt change a thing. So what if SSHS beats DAL by 30 or DRHS beats SSHS in an upset, it doesnt mean anything, it only counts when it comes to playoffs in a few weeks.

Don't be so fatalistic. Great games are great games, they ALL mean something. I sense a little fear however, some loss prevention maybe.

McAdam at Campobello tomorrow night...shouldn't be much of a game now. Word is that Howlett has a broken hand and is done for the season.

RHS is 10-0 in conference play, with two games left ...one vs BMHS
They have wins over LHHS , KV but have not played the Black kats...
They all shoot the ball very well and have the Macdonald kid back and that has given more scoring to go along with ethelson and murray...

The NE Regional is being played at the 1st place finisher in the Northern Conference on Feb 10th and 11th....which in all likelyhood will be Bathurst. JMH will be second and either ESN or Caraquet Will be 3rd or 4th (they have not played each other yet....)
The top 4 in the east will go north...RHS will be number 1 , as for the other 3 spots , can't say for sure. There are teams in the east (according to standings posted with gale jeffrey recently ) that still have 8 league games to play with only two weeks left. Either they haven't played them or haven't reported them. So standings in the east are still up in the air , way above the rim so to speak.

McAdam over Campo by 10 with Campo missing Howlett seems improbable to me. The Harvey score seems more like what I would expect from a short handed Campo on the 2nd day of a back to back.

It was actually McAdam over Campobello by 7 with Campo missing Howlett. Good game with Campo leading until the 4th quarter. I had heard there was a chance Tyler might play today but I don't know for sure what happened.

I heard that McAdam played poorly, and the week off from exams made them play sloppy, but that's not really an excuse since everyone is in the same situation. It will be interesting to see if they can recover for tomorrow's big league game in Harvey. The right to host the SW regional will be riding on outcome from that game and the rematch in McAdam on Wednesday. Should be some intense games!

Is mcadam missing someone? This seems very odd, was there some foul trouble, sickness, plague, famine? Not what I expected to hear.

Harvey definitely came out looking like they wanted to win this game, pulling out to a lead of 21-10 after the first quarter, and continuing on with an advantage of 36-18 at the half. It appeared the Lakers' defense was key, forcing McAdam to multiple difficult shots, and double-teaming Moffitt with excellent help defense. Gordon Robinson, who kept the Lakers in the last game in McAdam with 24 first-half points, struggled offensively, but saw much help from multiple players.

In the second half, the Warriors came out looking prepared to make a comeback, but Harvey continued to play well, maintaining a 54-39 lead after three. In the final quarter, both teams came alive with good inside and outside scoring, trading baskets for much of the quarter. Brandon Moffitt fouled out with the Lakers up 18 with three minutes left. Harvey stayed cool, controlling play, leading to a 78-57 victory.
