Of the vancouver teams, what are each teams best offensive player and, if you know, also best defensive player?

All vancouver teams so Kits, Tupper, Brit, Lord Byng, DT, Point Grey, PW, Van tech, Churchill, and etc. Or just put what you know about certain teams.

Kits won a tight city final game on OT two years ago in Junior and look strong again this year and are very athletic. Tupper will miss the leadership of their graduated players like Lum and Braam but will also be strong and have good size up front with Liang and Smythe. Byng has a hard working group led by Wu. Brittania is always a tough team to play against and are very fast and have a work ethic that is one of the best. DT is well coached and have good depth. Don't know much more besides that. Let's hope there are some more teams in the mix this year and the path to the vancouver city final 4 is tougher than it has been over the past few years.

? I think Killarney lost to Tupper by 40 points today. Not a #1 seed.

Not sure where you're getting your information from. Killarney was knocked out in the first round of the playoffs last year. That means they did not place in the top 8 in Vancouver. Tupper was the #1 seed both in the east and in Vancouver going into mainlands.

pushtostart, cj is absolutely right, Kilarney might have been 4th/5 in the east but really, only Tupper and Britannia should be considered as good teams in the east, the other schools were not even close to them. I think the best player offensively in Vancouver is Warren Liang from Tupper. Although his scoring was primarily due to James Lum last year, the kid still has a very nice game (comparing him to Dirk). Kid can shoot the ball and is a very big body to move. On the defensive end, the best defender is probably Osaro Obaseki. He's about 6'4 and can guard all positions very well. He and Liang will definetly have a very good matchup this year but Tupper will still beat them.

Killarney is not a very big team, their junior team looked bigger. Tupper played a decent game but were shaky at the start but used their speed and depth to take over.
