Well considering McAdam never had there starting center (Brandon Grant), which most of the offence is run through him, they had there struggles, and also cause the whole SJDA team was all Sr..... So that might be why.. Playing tougher competition only makes a team stronger

not really.. Harvey already beat McAdam by 30...McAdam beat DP by only 20, while JMA beat them by 40. JMA has gone up against a bunch of stiff competition, while the only real competition McAdam has had is Harvey. If McAdam can pull out a win then kudos, but from what I've seen through other scores those are my predictions.

Harvey played JMA in a back to back situation. Harvey had an early lead, but JMA made a push in the second quarter to lead by two at the half. JMA came out strong in the second half as Harvey was beginning to play a little tired and JMA built a lead up to 14. Harvey pulled back with their starters late in the game and cut the deficit to two, but they couldn't complete the comeback.
JMA then played McAdam in a back to back. Was close throughout with McAdam pulling it out in the end. A good win for McAdam that should help their confidence as the season progresses.
Harvey's strength is definitely their inside game as they have three bigs who can all score inside; they have a good transition game, but they struggle to hit the outside shot. JMA is a very balanced team with solid guard play and a couple big players who can step out and hit the fifteen footer; they also play a tough 2-3 zone. McAdam, is also very balanced, but their main weakness is against pressure; their ball handlers are not comfortable against a press and will commit turnovers.
Today's results show that JV boys can be up and down, and that anything can happen over the course of one game. The second game of a back to back is often also very tough and might skew results. Anything could happen in February though!

I have a feeling you on the Harvey JV team. geek .. It's an honorable loss, I mean two of the top teams colliding as an exhibition team, it can't get much better then that. JMA proceeded to lose to McAdam whom you guys beat, so I mean, they had their honorable loss as well. I think losing will give a team more drive then ever. If you are from Harvey though keep up the good work, nice program being built their over the past few years, and JMA is finally building a nice grass roots program. A lot of that is due to Richard Hoar. Excellent basketball coach, this guy knows the game and has these kids playing at a high pace then anyone expected. Kudos to him for taking initiative and giving something good to the community.

These 3 teams will be battling for the next few season in AA, I can guarantee you that.

Certain* . I don't doubt it. I would like to see them play each other without any back to backs involved, I just see JMA winning in the playoffs. They had players play senior last year and move down. They have played against better guys then they are playing against right now JMA is just an experienced team. Like some old vets just getting the job done ha.

I think Harvey will be the team to beat JMA if anyone will, they have the size to compete as well as the shooting. Let's see what happens.

I think you're being way too anxious right now. Most of us are giving your team proper Kudos, do you want a metal? Beat them and you'll get the top ranking, I guarantee.

Medal * I believe he was responding to your question of whether it was a tournament or for one game...not stating "that it was just one game!!" .....look forward to seeing another good game between the two.

It looks like Southern Victoria may actually be the best team in AA. This weekend they did very well in the Carleton North tournament, posting wins over Bathurst and Rothesay (a team that beat Harvey by over 20). It's hard to compare games against common opponents sometimes, but these results tell me that this team is capable of beating anyone in AA, and might even be the favorite.
