The strongest school out of these three is defiantly St. Matts

Watch out for new comers Guled J #9, Awaleh Y #4 and Abdullahi H #34. All of them are roughly 6'1 and bring amazing guard skills to the game for Ottawa Islamic School

Best would be St Matt's (1-0), then Notre Dame (0-2), and OIS (0-2). Check fatdog for league standings. Those records are just league play though. St Matt's beat St Pat's, who are considered a top team in Ottawa. Notre Dame lost to St Paul and Deslauriers who are both 3-0 and two of the top teams in the A/AA division. OIS lost to Deslauriers by 40, and Ridgemont (who lost to St Paul by 20) by 3.

OIS:

Strengths: quick, individual talent

Opportunities: disorganized, low percentage shots, no low post presences, rely heavily on Khaled (PF), turns the ball over under high pressure

Notre Dame:

Strengths: quick, physical, rebounds well, good passing team, strong full court press, strong half court defense, light skinned shooting guard can shoot the 3 ball very well and he’s a strong defender

Opportunities: poor shooting, the PG has a weak left hand and no pull up (forces the ball right), one of their big is slow up and down the court and likes to settle for 3 point shoots.

St- Matt’s:

Strengths: Well organized, high percentage shots, flex offense, strong picks, effective half court trap defense and 1-3-1 zone

No visible weaknesses beside the overall level of talent

I assume that this thread is in preparation for the Cougar Classic this weekend, in which case the Notre Dame in question is from Carleton Place, not the Notre Dame from Ottawa
