Vancouver College played Raymond very tough and aggressive in your face full court defense. Raymond didn't play their best game with a lot of turnovers (32 i think). They went up about 15 points at one time then van college hit a bunch of threes to tie the game and then Raymond pulled away at the end again. The bc refs are great. They will let the boys beat the hell out of each other before they call a fouls. For Raymond to end the game with 11 fouls, and play the same way they do in Alberta, you know something is different. In Southern Alberta, they would have been called for 40 fouls that game, and the other team for about 50. Jimmy ended the game with 33 points 10 assists, Tyson with with 18 points and 17 rebounds.

Grandin blew it in the second half. After being tied at 44 at half, they only scored 20 points in the second half. They probably had 3/4 of their turnovers in the second half that went the other way for lay ups.

PostSubject: Can't Win at 30%   Tue Feb 08, 2011 11:09 pm

Take away the 10 layups per game for Jimmy, and the Comets are easy to beat. 30% on 100 shots is how you lose games. Coach Heggie lets he jack from ANYWHERE while guys like #10 sit and watch and then when his team gets the ball they force it too, cause they no this dude is selfish! SO to beat Raymond, let him shoot, just done let him pad his stats with easy layups. Very Happy
