Churchil beaten by Kits and twice by Mouat yet they are ranked tsecond. Whiterock never played any top team but ranked so high. And your team is beaten to pulp in Drive tourney yet you got them at 10. Selfless ranking is so impressive???

Mcmath deserves a top 10 ranking, maybe not within the top 5 but that's fair their at 10. As for white rock, their roster looks very promising on paper and I think they deserve where they are. Churchill beat vc and won the drive tourney, that ranking is also deserves at this point of the season. Great work karn! How often will these be updated?

Thank you for the postivie feedback i hope to do these bi weekly at least untill we get to provincials alot will change by then

J Liv- i take full responsability for my teams play at the drive classic i worked them hard first half of the year an thought if i gave them the full time off untill the drive tournament they would still be fine but 9 day lay off is just too much when the best teams are still playing an playing often we were out of shape but with some hard practices and a good week of games we are playing the best basketball i have seen these kids play since ive had them its been impressive to watch

as for churchill they won the drive classic yes they lost two exhibition games to mouat but those games get outweighed by tournament wins that is just fair as far as kits yes they won early on in the season and those teams are neck an neck they still lost to bby south last week at the emerald its more about what have you done for me lately. White rock on paper is a team i do not want to see at all they are big and aggressive at half they are up 38-24 on tweeds and are playing great ball

I also don't understand how churchill is number 2 and has lost to Kits and Mouat(twice), the loss to kits was early in the season but a win is a win, and until churchill beats kits or mouat they should be behind them. Churchill plays Kits next week at Churchill should be another good one.

WRCA has yet to prove themselves, but they are in the pitt tournament with VC, Pitt, and Kits, we will see how they measure up.

Wheres Walnut Grove maybe they should be ahead of mcmath?

well WRCA just beat Lord Tweedsmuir in the semi finals of the Surrey RCMP tourney, and i would say the lords are a high ranked team.

I think Mouat should be moved up a spot and that Tweeds and SMUS should be switched.

B. South beat Kits, so according to your logic, South should be a top 3 team? You can't really do rankings like that, there's more to it.

justdoit, all I am saying us that Churchill has is ranked 2nd, kits 4th, mouat 5th, they are all very close in the rankings and are consistant aswell (rarely losing games) so if a 4th or 5th team has beaten a 2nd ranked team (twice) shouldn't their be some movement in the rankings. Churchill is a good team but wj mouat and Kits have each beatan them so is churchill really diserving of the number 2 spot?
The reason I am not suggesting that bby south should be ahead of smus, kits, or vc is beacause they are inconsitant, but beating 3 top 6 teams should move them into the top eight and if they can consistantly win vs top teams then maybe they should be a top 3 team.

Karn, are counting preseason wins and losses or just regular season, because if you are counting regular season WRCA didn't beat Kits it was only a preseason game.

I am just saying that the season starts on a certain date, and before that date Kits was not Kits they were westside and WRCA was onepassahead so technacally speaking it was not a Kits vs WRCA game, therefore it would not be counted in a regular season record.

It might not have been a regular season game but we both know that it was the kits team vs the wrca team and not onepassahead because that is a completely different team. The fact is kits lost, so stop defending them.

Sure Kits did lose but I'm not trying to say they didn't. I'm trying to saying if Karn was putting together records for teams, that game shouldn't be counted because if was not within the dates allowing highschool teams to be highschool teams. WRCA won the game hats off to them but the game did not occur within the REGULAR season.

That is correct but i think we shouldnt just ignore those games because they werent within the dates and we should still take them into account

That is a bit of a bold statement and I have to disagree, Kits was leading by 8 most of the game vs WRCA, and Kits has been improving on how to play without Luka, not to say that WRCA hasn't improved either but I think that if they play eachother at the pitt air show this coming weekend it could go either way and it would be a close game.

Do you know what is story behind Kits losing to Claremont and Burnett in NSjit tourney?

Wasn't at either of the games but they were missing two key players for both games and I heard they played terribly aswell.

no excusses are being made just answering a question. Like I said I wasn't at either of the games so I can't say what went wrong just telling u what i happen to know. And based on what I heard they did not deserve to win either of the games on those given days.

happen to meet a person who was at the game and kits had all players on the floor. tom, Cole, Mark, Noah, Vibhour and justin and entire bench. Claremount just happen to be a better team on that day, that is it.
