A couple of notes:

- Duan is a great young player. With sugarloaf being so guard heavy he may not stand out, but would be well deserving of an all-star at this level.

- The allstars are not nominated by position. Each school nominates 5 players from other schools in their own conference. Depending on which pick they are 1,2,3 etc they get a certain number of points etc. Lists of top point getters in each conference are assembled by conference presidents who meet with their counter part (NE/SW) and select a top 7 for each.
This process could give you 7 guards or 7 bigs. The real issue tends to be that teams/schools that only see these teams in league games and may not follow them or a province as a whole get as much say as a knowledgable school/coach. So teams can be making selections simply based on how they played against them, or how they feel about a certain player, etc.

And then there are the coaches who say I will vote for your player if you vote for mine.

One more point i would like to make is that i know whoever picks the teams probably try to get players from different teams but i mean its an "All-Star" team so say if there was 3 guys from dalhousie or 3 guys for CNBA or from where ever then they should take those 3 even though they dont do that i mean its called an "All-Star" team not a limited All-Stars from each team lol come on now

They might not pick too many from the same team, but they don't take one from each team.

Sounds like a flawed system of rewarding the best in the province to me.

Pretty spot on with this one princess, everyone seems to be a good ball player, except for wood. Im sure there a more talented players in the south that could take his spot away. Hes not bad but i really dont see him as an all-star.

I've been seeing a lot of talk about Eric Lewis, but Kody MacPhail has been consistently a top scorer all season long. He shoots a mean three and plays some of the best basketball I've seen in a while.

Kody can shoot against anything. Is he gets hot against Dal over the weekend...watch out. I have seen him hit like 10 3's in game before. It's eye boggling.

does JMA play zone or man to man from what i hear they play a weak 2 1 2 zone plus they don't have any real big guy. if they can shoot the ball well they probably will win.

what is all this crap about weak zones and weaker players? why cant you guys just all drive down to tims and whine about politicians? or your drive in the snowstorm to drop your stool sample at your local hospital? this is an ALLSTAR thread. and since I am the troll your momma warned you about [nice try gm breaker] i'll give you 2 allstars for each bracket and you can try to name some more, if you got away from young and restless long enough to see a game
h.goodine and b.gillis and i know she played with the boys but she's still a lady
b. moffit and b. hovey cause he really never moved up
v.picard and about 3 pg i can't decide who
p. esson and b. states no question

2. Duan Fournier-Ash (SSHS)
3. Joe Maxwell (Dalhousie)

South West:
1) Brandont Moffitt (Mcadam)
2) Brandon Meikle (DPCS)
3) Joel Bishop (DPCS)
4) Gordon Robinson (HHS)
5) Matt Harrington (DPCS)
6) Tyler Howlett (Campo)
7) Thomas Murphy (HHS)

North East:

1) Pat macnaughton (SSHS)
2) Myles Bernard (DRHS)
3) Eric Johnson (SSHS)
4) Justin Corey (minto)
5) Ryan Hunter (DRHS)
6) Jarred Peterson (CNBA)
7) Joe Maxwell (DRHS)

In my opinion these are the best players you will find in AA. Ive watched many games this season and if i had a vote these are the players that would be going to sussex this year for the allstar game.

Eric Lewis belongs on the NorthEast Team, seen him play this weekend. I really like the way this guy plays.

umm like the list however i feel like if anything for the north east all-stars if you were going to put 3 players from one team then it should of been sugarloaf because they are the best team in the league at the moment and had an undefeating record with only 4 losses to Bathurst arguably best team in aaa and their not even in their league now for those 3 players idk u could pick Macnaughton, Eric Johnson, JD, Fournier whoever plus salmonking I also seen Eric lewis play this past weekend and he didnt seem to stand out for me if u ask me it seemed like JMA didnt like the physicality Dalhousie had to bring

yeah its hard to tell how good a player is by only one game , any player .its not easy to pick 14 players from all the talent in each divison , i dont think i would want the job . to bad there are those rumors about the coaches saying ill vote for yours if you vote for mine wether its true are not it casts a cloud on the prosess. has anyone got a better or other way to do it ?
