Tobique is a tough team but i think if RNS plays like they did last time with the them with Anna playing well and shutting down their post they could pull out a win

RNS will need to shoot the lights out and hope Tobique plays poorly. I hope it is a close game.

I could not beleive that the coach of TV left Goodine in the game when she had 4 fouls. There was like 2:30 left in the third quarter when she picked up here 4th foul and he still did'nt take her off. The refs let her away with 2 offensive fouls in the 4th quarter, she was lucky to be still playing in overtime. Best game of the weekend!! RNS had more gas left in the tank at the end!

So much to say.......RNS by 9 in 2 OTs - it will be a game that is remembered for a long time by everyone in attendance
Goodine had a hell of a game but coach should have switched up his defense a bit. McMackin hit the same shot from the same spot for 36 points and they never guarded her. RNS had the ball with 17 second left and tobique took a time-out and still stayed in zone????????
Simonds proved to be a super star who left it all on the court!!
The Cooper's from both sides were the key-when they were out of the game it became sloppy.
The better 'team' won - although it could have gone either way.
Well done to both teams!!

There was an earlier post on this site that stated in order for TV to lose the other team would have to shoot the lights out and that is exactly what happened . I was not surprized by Simmonds or McMackins play as I expected they would show up and Cooper from TV and Cooper from RNS both were solid . Goodine had 40 and was the best player on the floor but the surprize to me was how RNS post shut down Ouellette. TV's fast break is based of rebounding and RNS did a great job at both ends at the hoop.

Mcmakin killed Tobique. Same shot from the same spot all game long.

RNS did not shut Ouellette down. Ouellette shut herself down by taking careless fouls and having to sit for most of the game.

Still a great game to watch.

Goodine was electric when her team needed. Bringing them back to tie almost completely by herself.

And yes, both Coopers were good too.

Baller24 - weren't you saying that no one could beat TV!!! RNS posts slowed down Oulette both at regionals and at HS - give them some credit

If a kid makes deep threes from all over the court to bust your zone they kill you. If they are making the same open 12-15 foot uncontested all game that is your defense killing you.

It was definitely exciting for the fans. The game was fairly sloppy though with very little defense being played to stop either teams best players. I found the play scrambly and was disappointed in the level of play at times, but the heart and energy were definitely there for both teams.

Oulette and most of her teammates (Goodine being the notable exception) do not have appeared to have gotten anything other then older from last years final. Goodine will her team to be in and have a chance to win that game and I was shocked when I found out she'd only scored 38 as it felt like much more then that.

Overall an very exciting way to start the Harbour Station Final 8.

I did forget to mention that RNS did out rebound Ouellette. RNS played a great game.

Coach, I am as shocked as the rest that RNS won. But that is why we play the games eh? Not the first or last to be upset in this finals setting.

I do not mean to take anything away from coaches and players from RNS, good job.

I said I would be back after TV won, this is my first time back on this site since the game and I must say, so many of us, including me, had this year as everyone playing for second place and that TV had it in the bag. This is why they play the game. Congrats to RNS, they improved as the year went on and at the end of it, they were the best team. I definately underestimated them. They should definately be the favorite going into next year, don't you think?
