PostSubject: Whether the teams can weather the weather . . .   Thu Feb 24, 2011 4:22 pm

Middle school provincials Sat & Sun. Harbour Stations Sat.. Allstar Sunday. Big storm coming n Friday into the night. Will all the teams and events be able to overcome travel issues and go on? Or do we forsee delays and schedule changes.

well aslong as the venues are still available why not postpone until the nest best day or days?

The weather is not going to get bad until afternoon tommorrow . As far as the final eight as long as everyone plans ahead and leaves early tommorrow it should be fine . The weather looks good for saturday and sunday . Other teams should not be punished for poor planning by some . Everyone in the province knows there is a storm coming so get out of bed and get there .

I am shocked at the notion that schools, AD"S and districts would allow students to miss classes on Friday, just so they could be at a silly basketball game in Saint John on Saturday.
