11. VI 2
12. FV 5

i dont see how #1 could OK .. i would think #1 should be Lower mainland. Can #1 FV be ahead of #2 LM even if LM is ranked ahead ??

Winner of Palmer and South will be the #1 ranking. They should separate Palmer and South so they don't meet in the semi finals. If Fox win the Valleys: (Top 10)

1. LM 1
2. FV 1
3. LM 2
4. OK 1
5. FV 2
6. VI 1
7. LM 3
8. FV 3
9. LM 5
10. VI 2

Kelowna becomes the 4th seed because of Fox beating Kelowna in their only previous meeting. That, along with not having South.Palmer in the semi finals, puts Fox 2 and Kelowna 4.

Lyle your ranking posted are by far the most accurate. If Palmer wins the LM then OK #1 (if KSS) should move to #1 seed with LM #1 and #2 at seed 2 & 3. Sorry FV but based on the season your champion should be no higher than #4.

OK really has no chance at #1 as they will not put LM1 and LM2 on the same side of the draw, given the strength of those two games. LM1 WILL get the #1 seed.

Keep mind there are a lot more factors than just a ranking that the committee will use to make the seeding. One of the factor is that they want the best four teams in the semis. Some people may not agree with that thought process but it is fact that they do use that as one of the factors. Others would be current health of a team, zone finish, quality wins. I'm sure there are others I'm failing to mention. It is quite a process - and someone is guaranteed not to be happy when it's over.

I'm flattered that you want my opinion. I think what you have is pretty accurate. One thing to consider... they (the committee) might seed as many as 3 teams from the same zone in the top 4. Last year 3 Valley teams were seeded in the top 4 with all top 4 seeds making the semis. This was a response to the previous year when they went more regional with the top 4 (Island, Interior, Valley & Mainland) and St. georges went right through from Day 1. They won't make that mistake again. I believe it will be as you posted for the top 4, with Valley #1 + #2 on opposite sides as well as Mainland #1 + #2 on opposites. Valley #5 (if its Pitt) should be in the main draw.

No LM #1 if seeded #1 would play the winner of seeds 16 vs. 17. Does that make sense?

Keep in mind that St. George's finished LM 5 - barely, that year.

They deserved the Tuesday game - then had a great BCs.

Ok yes, I see your point here. However, Kelowna being ranked ahead of Fox at some points during the year has nothing to do with team comparison.

I am not 100% sure how the provincial tournament rankings are decided. To me, head to head is more important than Weekly Rankings.

If head to head rankings are a very important factor, then Fox WOULD be ahead of Kelowna.

I wasn't saying that Saints didn't deserve to play on day 1, I was more thinking that they got the top 4 wrong that year... maybe.

So from what I saw earlier from everyone's predictions was Fox coming out as #1 FV now you have Mouat as #1 and based on their season so far have been all over the map. I would say you now go LM #1 as top or Ok#1.

Agreed... but you still give Mouat the #3 or #4 based on winning the valley, a very tough tournament to win. Remember they beat three top ten teams to win it.

1. KSS
2. Palmer
3. South
4. Moaut
5. Dover Bay
6. Fox
7. VC
8. Heritage
9. Tupper
10. Grove
11. Pitt
12. Claremont

KSS was ranked #2 so they have to move to #1 with Palmer winning the LM. There is no way that Moaut can be 3 ahead of South, so it has to be LM 1&2 in the seed #2, #3 positions. I put Pitt ahead of Claremont based on season rankings. I put Dover where I think the comittee will put them, I think I would have them at # 7 and move VC and Fox up.

They don't have to put KSS #1. I think with Palmer beating South that could earn them the #1 and would keep them and South on opposite sides... something I think the committee would try to do. Everthing else looks pretty good, and I agree with Dover at #7.

From the possible draws and the season so far it looks to be a great tournament this year. No one is a clear favourite everyone needs to bring their A game.
