Wow, Tupper and Pitt at 12-13? Any reason why they're ranked so low? Pitt doesn't have it as bad though since they play Caledonia and most likely to play unranked Dover Bay, while Tupper plays Fox..

thats a shame for dover to get such a high ranking and have to play such a solid team, i think this also happened two years back when they won the vancouver island region and got st george's in the first round....hahaha

John,

It is a bit of a "slap"... but I have to admit that it's also fair.

One criteria that is used by the committee is to build a draw where the best four teams makes the semi-finals. Some teams may have a bit harder road than others but I think it's pretty good where we will see the best four teams in the semis (compared to where two top four teams are in the same quadrant).

Saint George's (Vancouver) (11)

Tuesday winners:
Tamanawis (Surrey) (12)
Pitt Meadows (7)
Gleneagle (Coquitlam) (HM)
and whomever LM 5 ends up being - don't get me started there!

Wednesday's winners:

R.C. Palmer (Richmond) (3)

Terry Fox (Port Coquitlam) (5)
Pitt Meadows (7)

Vancouver College (4)
Kelowna (2)

Burnaby South (1)

After the Legal Beagle I would have picked KSS, South, Palmer and Fox as a final four at Provincials.
Some teams have really stepped up lately and it should be interesting to see who plays in the
semis Friday night. Winning games may depend on who is the healthiest or hottest come game time.
There should be some great ball from game #1 to the finals!!

I wonder how many teams are considering staying out at Langley, at least the first 2 days as the travel itself can be very taxing physically and mentally. This is where i think a team like Kelowna who's one of the favorites anyways will have a bit of an advantage over say Palmer.

An hour drive isnt gonna effect how you play they're gonna be there an hour or two before the game gives them enough time to get loose and get there legs into it

Palmer gets to sleep comfortably in their own beds... teams from outside the Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley have to travel, sleep in hotels, eat take-out & restaurant meals. Don't think for a second that Palmer would be disadvangated by having to drive ALL THE WAY OUT TO LANGLEY!
