It's nice to see Jalen Jana's name on your U15 list. He is a great ball player who doesn't get enough credit/recognition.

If all these guys played BBC this year we could have some really good teams. Too bad alot of these are Drive players.

Just imagine when Braxston and Cam are on the floor together!! I know that won't happen too often seeing that they will most likely sub in and out for each other but still, that will be very intimidating to play against with two guys who are 6'10'' and 6'11''.

I don't know if I can agree on the choice of Sajen Gill, and Jake Newman. Sajen has not improved very much since grade 8, and if you guys have been following since grade 8, Sajen was one of the best in his age group then, but I can't say he is now. Instead, I would put Ryan Sclater in for Sajen, the kid is an absolute bull. As for Jake Newman, haven't seen him play very much but I would prefer Kealan Wild.

I totally agree with you on Sajen....He hasnt grown at at all since grade 8 and was very dissapointed with what i saw from Gill this year...As for Ryan Slater he is a Provincial volleyball player and i dont believe he will be even trying out for the Provincial bball team

Ryan S would be a nice addition to the Provincial team. He has some, is athletic and takes care of the ball, He should have been on my original list. I was not impressed with Sajen in grade 8 as he relied on his size and did not move or post well. I only saw him play once this season and he shot well from outside, grabbed a couple of offensive rebounds and was quite tenacious. He definitely had an impact on the game.
Jake Newman is a good role player, he can get his shot away due to match up problems. He did not play well early in the season, but came around late. I saw the U16 team play 2-3 games last summer and he was one of their go to guys.

Has anybody seen this kid play? I watched him play at the U14 summer games last summer and he was on the Okanagan team that placed second. I believe he goes to a small A school in the interior and from what I saw he's a pretty smooth player. His name's luke tompkins i believe. Anyone know about him?

The BC team will be strong this year, Drive and BBC should hold one big tournament at the new Drive center then we could see how they really match up.

Or we could stick to the topic and talk about the provincial team like the title of the post says ''provincial teams only.''
Make your own topic if you want to discuss BBC and Drive.

Determination: I know who you are talking about. Luke Tompkins lives in Enderby, only about 2500 people which is between Salmon Arm and Vernon. He is a smooth player that can get to the rim. I've only seen him play at RTC in Kelowna a few times but he seems to be one of the top grade 9's in the Okanagan.

I beleive the u16 list could be subject to alot of change depending on the commitment of drive players to stay with there club as well as BBC . Elijah Hillis-Gold can you give some info on him the moderator has much praise but other then him theres not much fact out there .

Yes thank you hoop4life. I wonder if he will follow in the steps of Mitch Goodwin and transfer to a bigger Okanagan school (Kelowna). Him and Buzz Truss would make a pretty solid combo much like Mitch and Braxton.

Elijah Hills-Gold can definitly be put on the list as a top u16 player. He started at PG for South Kam this year but didn't score that much because the scoring duties were mostly up to Dave Wagner and Spencer Jarosuk. But he did a good job at running the point and is quick up the floor with the ball and has a decent shot. I think he has a good shot at making the u16 team.

Yeah I've heard rumours that he may move to a bigger city, but rumours are rumours. Him and Buzz could make a solid combo but it wouldn't be like Mitch and Braxston because both of them will be wing players. Buzz played a lot of post for Dr. Knox this past year but was also able to bring the ball up the floor on fast breaks. If he doesn't improve his ballhandling then he will be like Dave Manshreck/Jason Mackee in the future. But, I think this kid has a lot of potential. He is freakishly athletic for a grade 9 and has a good feel for the game. If he moves up next year and plays senior at KSS, it would be good for him because he would have to play at the wing position.

The U17 and U16 list dead on. Those players deserve to be on this list. On the other hand, the most of the U15 players are way too overrated.

These are the players I think will make the U15 team with out a doubt.

Tristan Etienne - (likely playing drive)
Mindy Minhas - (likely playing drive)
Mat Chow - (likely playing drive)
Corey Hauck - (likely playing drive)
Jadon Cohee - (likely playing drive)

The rest is wide open and there are a lot of players out there that were not on this list that have a good chance of making the team.

Manroop was not BS's best player, Ater Degal was.
Mitch Knippleberg definitely has to be on this list as well
Manny Dulay is a terrific player, but this class of u17s are just way too talented and there are some better guards out there
All in All, great list

manroop and mitch would be a good back court nd then irvine and bunce then for that sf position you can use newman or cole penman but that 3 spot is up for grabs
